Yay, Davis got a new computer and an internet network. This will allow Davis to come onto charas again. Some of you are glad to see me back, some are not. I really don't care if you're not cause I'm eating some really kickass fishsticks right now ;)
This also means my rm2k3 problem is fixed but I don't have it, I have XP. XP Is the program that ends the debate between 2k and 2k3, because it's better than both by far.
Anyone else here gots rpgmakerXP?
-
First of all, welcome back.
Second of all I bet to differ.
Third of all, it don't matter because Alex has a 0 policy on RMXP.
XD So booyee! Welcome back Trevlac and since this is a I am back thread it will be moved.
-
Velkum back Trevlac.
-
Thanks, and what's this 0 tolerence of XP?
-
well, charas dose NOT! like the rpg maker xp thingy IN ANY WAY, so your stuffed
and welcome back, spos
-
We're not allowed to do anything but talk about it. No resources, no requests, no game posting. Welcome back.
-
Dear lord...so no one *likes* it or it's more illegal than 2k and 2k3? (I payed for mine if that counts...well, not really but what if I did!?!)
Well, then if anyone wants to request something for it from me e-mail me or, if allowed, PM me.
-
I thought it was because you hated us you left without a trace.
G.
-
Aww. I don't hate you....just everyone else (lol jk). Nah, old computer broked, so Trevlac went boom for a while.
-
Welcome back Trevlac!!
-
Who knows, but there is no tolerance on it, just folllow that rule Alex made him self.
-
Alex said not even in PMs, so you're going to be limited to emails. But it's good to see you back.
-
Goddammit, you're back.
Lots of people here like RMXP, they just aren't allowed to do anything involving it here, because apparently the site could get in trouble. Darkfox is the only one I know of that really 'hates' the program. Also, if you even try to talk about it, the newbies will 'zero tolranc!11!!@1' your ***. Anally.

Welcome (back) to charas!
-

zero tolranc!11!@1

Actually MrMister i also hate XP, the BS is cheap and i don't like the gfx.
-
Also the script is just a INI type... I don't like simplicity that much... I'd rather have somthing with meat to it, like a maker that uses entity files where you code each monster individually, this allows animation frames, sounds to play, special effects, ect.

! MAN
Wow, never been flamed by a newb before...might be fun :D Thanks for the warning MrMr.
And yeah it could do with a much better use of rubyscript. Hell, I read an entire book on it from the library before I even *thought* of downloading XP. I'd love to see enemy animations AND A BLOODY "DELETE EVENT" COMMAND! (Sick of making effin' change switches...) And they need an option for multiple pages that It selects randomly to use (for stuff like NPC conversations).

And this, my friends, is why I've always been an avid supporter of the Toolkit (http://www.rpgtoolkit.com).
-
Welcome back, Trevlac
(Hey, that kinda rhymed)
