San Andreas, the already legendary game is so successful, it has already spawned it's own myths!
1. Bigfoot- Can be found around Mount Chilliad apparently. No conclusive evidence as of yet, but apparently you can se him in one of the photos at CJ's house. Upon examination, I concluded it was probably a house in the distance with the lights on, although I could see how it was confused.
2. CJ's Mum's Ghost- Supposedly apears in the Johnson House at exactly 0:04. Hasn't worked for me yet.
3. Ghost Cars- In the Back o' Beyond, empty shells of Glendales are supposed to drive themselves around. Haven't seen any myself, although my brother swears he saw one go past the Cluckin' Bell near Grove Street. Then again, it was something my brother said!
4. Sea Monsters- Very vague this one. Sharks are a possibility, but they're not talking sharks, they're talking along the lines of the Loch Ness Monster! No evidence.
5. Mystery Phone Box- Supposedly appears in the desert at night and starts ringing. No evidence.
6. Aliens- True, lights can be seen in the sky, but these are probably just the jet planes that go around San Andreas. Apparently, not only can you see UFOs, but they land near the quarry! No conclusive evidence.
7. Leather Face (aka. Johnny Cash (Manhunt)/ Freddy Creuger/ Slim Shady)- Yes, apparently in the woods is a maniac with a chainsaw who has had numerous descriptions, including the main character of Manhunt, Johnny Cash, Freddy Creuger of Nightmare on Elm Street fame and a guy in a mask, possibly rapper Slim Shady.
These are very likely to be talked up hype. However, Rockstar do like their suprises. Remeber how long it took to find the man with concrete shoes in the waters of Vice City? Not to mention the giant easter egg with the phrase 'This is not an easter egg, go away!'
If anyone finds conclusive evidence, let me know!

i dout there true, but ill look out for it when i get it for christmas

I know the ghosts driving cars one is true. In the back 'o beyond, you can find many trashed Glendales, which drive around on very rare occasions. I saw one of 'em drive for a little while then just stop. So I stole the car..lol.
San Andreas has a lot of easter eggs in it. Try going into a 24-7 store and browsing the shelves, I found some beer called 'Pissh'...lol.
The other 6 myths sound quite interesting, I'm gonna have a look for 'em after.
-
I already checked for the ghost of CJ's Mum and I'll take a look around the Back o' Beyond if you've found some empty Glendales!
But, erm, 'your' Glendales? You have to trash some first? Wow, I should find hundreds then! :D

Naah, that was a typo I just realised I had done...lol!
'My' should have been 'many'(it's been changed to many now). lol
About CJ's mom's ghost, does her ghost exist? 'Cause her ghost didn't appear for me. I tried and I tried...
I've also tried looking for bigfoot on Mount Chiliad, but no prevail. Well, mainly 'cause I repeatedly fell from the mountainside on my motorbike and splatted.
I also tried that sea monster one, but still *sighs* no prevail. These easter eggs sure are hard to find...
-
I heard that you can see CJ's mother from the mirror at 0:04.
-
wow....i would check but i dont want to waste all the time to drive from san fierro to grove street.
-
No sorry....in a recent interview a rep said that the big foot, the ghost, and the sea monsters are fake....He didn't mention the others though, so you never know!
-
Some of them may be true, others may not. Like I say, if you find evidence, let us know.
-
Okay, I re-checked the Back 'o' Beyond beyond one, and that is definately true. Drive around there between about 22:00 and 02:00, and if you're lucky, you may see a trashed up Glendale moving.
I was driving through and noticed a trashed-up Glendale driving down a small hill, and then it crashed. Those ghosts are such bad drivers...lol.
Something about the 24-7 store thing, I found an ice-cream bar called 'Dump'.
And try looking at the sky at night (it must be clear and starry), you can see a star constellation (however it's spelt) of the Rockstar symbol. The R should be made up of stars and the star in the symbol should be a very bright star.
I have something I want people to check, because I'm not sure yet. If anyone has heard of the Northstar Rock (Rockstar North reversed), then I want someone to take a look at something. If you don't know where it is, go on the in-game map and guide the cursor north of CJ's house, you should get to an area called North Rock. Go to the round gray area there. It should be a large rounded rock, which a flat top(or nearly flat).
Anyway, there are many clusters of Rocks on this large rock, and I can't help to think that the rocks move places, because when I left the area that the large rock was in, and returned, Rocks were missing form it's top and were halfway down it's side!
Can someone check this out for me 'cause I'm pretty sure I wasn't imagining things! I just want feedback from others, to see if I am the only one experiencing this!

The Pissh one could be a parody on I believe a French water brand called "Pschitt", which they actually wanted to release in other countries, but I think didn't because the combination ps would be pronounced as s.

Alot of these myths are pretty hard to prove to. And some are made just to keep you playing...FOREVER!!!! lol
-
i still havnt got past the first island/type deally, i think i am helping ig loc er somthing, i accsidently blew up the car and had to restart... yay for jet packs!
-
About the UFO myth, I have tried looking around the quarry(in the desert), but nothing appeared. But, if you go into a place called 'Lil' Probe Inn', you can find pictures and crap, that have something to do with UFO sightings. And theres even a map of the desert area with markings which I believe are to be the locations of UFO sightings. This UFO thing could be a possiblity, in my opinion.

Y'know, you don't need a JetPack.
And bicycling off that edge, having CJ pedal faster and faster, falling faster and faster, only to hit something, have the bike bounce a mile away and have CJ die right there, is truely rewarding.
-
LOL.
I remember you showing me that moment extremely vividly. :D

It is possible to just shoot him and have his bike catch fire, but if you saty behind at a distance where you can react to his sudden turns and stuff, eventually he just stops with three gang members, Vagos I think. Just get off the bike and shoot Freddy when he stops! :guns: Die Freddy!!! :frag: Die!!!
Mwhahahahaha!!!! >:

I surpassed that mission ages ago, but I did what Majin Sam said to do.
Something funny to check out, near the Big Red bridge that connects San Fierro (however it's spelt) to the desert (the bridge is at the top-left hand corner of the map, well just a little lower), you can find a small diner with a large Red tube on a podium. The sign on it says 'An actual piece of Cable' and it has quotes from people, I think one of 'em is 'Truly Amazing' or something like that, and the last quote is something like 'It's just basic science, not that exciting really'. Pfff...like a piece of Cable would be interesting...WOW!!! A piece of Cable!!! WOW!!! (lol)
On the third island/area, I found a car rental place called Shody, which I think is meant to be pronounced 'shoddy'.
In San Fierro, you can find a large building that is a Zombie Virus Lab. It should have a large, golden statue of a DNA strand inside. You can check the pillars there for signs which say 'Zombie Virus Research Facility. Visitors Welcome!'

That zombie thing is creepy and sinister...
which makes me think; dark sky thick with black clouds, the only light coming from the strikes of lightning. Little CJ walkin down an empty street of San Fierro... and then... ZOMBIES!! Grand Theft Auto: Resident Evil! That would be cooool...

There are alot of Easter Eggs in San Andreas, for example, if you look on top of the Gant Bridge that connects San Fierro and the Desert it should have 'There are no Easter Eggs here, go away!' written on it somewhere!
By the way, Big Foot, referring to the Thanks To section where it says 'Big Foot', is a monster truck company that let Rockstar use their design. There is no Bigfoot monster!
However, a Jaws type creature has been confirmed!

I was contacted *x-files music* by some guy who had seen this topic: he had something to add to it;
"but here is one that i tried maself and works!!!!! in palamino creek (i think thts wat its called) ther is a wheelchair on the boardwalk that goes out to the lake. and at 12:00 exactly it starts movin around in a circle, ther is no otha way of movin it its just then tht it moves around. it was on a saturday on the game if tht made any difference" - nick whaley

*Wraps a blanket around Razor and gives him some cocoa*

that wasnt just a kick, it was a stupid reply for your friggen post count, grow up, posts count doesnt matter, you ought to be a shamed of yourself, saying some small comment at every topic, waiting for one person to reply so you can put another stupid pointless reply! just for that we should subtract 80 of your posts...
-
What the hell?
Who said I cared about my post count? Where is my legion of pointless replies in every topic?
I don't know what crawled up your orifice and died, but last time I checked there was no harm in posting on a forum.
I wasn't even the one who kicked it, Razor was. Why don't you got make your meaningless posts on a forum where no one cares how ignorant they are.
