Title: Kingdom Hearts:New Awakining

I know alot of people have been making KH games but, I still have decided to work on one. I am using the RPG2K3 battle system, and alot of other neat stuff. Here is an explaination.

Story-
  Takes place 3 years after KH2. It is about 4 Keyblade Masters.
  The Heartless have come back, and Sora is nowhere to be found.
 So, Kiye, a friend of Sora, decides to follow in his friend's footsteps and seal the Heartless away once and for all. He grabs his Keyblade, and then starts heading to the town of Alacia.

Characters-
First of all, be happy as there are no Disney characters whatsoever. :) Now, on to the Explaination.

Kiye
Age:15
Keyblade: Phoenix Tear
A Friend of the Keyblade Master Sora. He decides to fight the Heartless after he cannot find Sora. He is very quiet, and some think he may have a secret.

Rei
Age:14
Keyblade: Oathkeeper
A young girl that Kiye finds in Alacia, being attacked by the Heartless. He saves her, and then she decides to join him.

Diku
Age:17
Keyblade: Oblivion
A mysterious boy whom Kiye, Rei, and Chento (see next Bio) meet while in the Temple of Ages. He helps them seal the Keyhole there, and then they move on.

Chento
Age:15
Keyblade: Heartless Key
Kiye and Rei meet this cheerful young boy while in the Jungle of Juno. Although he is usually happy, sometimes he has odd moments where his mind just leaves him. Kiye suspects that his heart is falling to the darkness.

You can press ALT+Print Scrn while playing to get a screenshot. You just need to paste it somewhere after that.

I don't know, just look for a button that says: Print Screen
It will capture the the screen then just paste it into paint and edit from there.

You should still have Print Screen in the upper right somewheres.

And use the edit button instead of double posting.

Update-

Character Contest-
If anyone here thinks they can make a cool Keyblade Master (aka a custom Keyblade Master), send a Battlechar Set, Charaset, Faceset (I might use my 200+ to match) and a custom Keyblade Battle Weapon. The top 3 will appear as playable characters in my game.


For Now On I will add all updates but Scrn Shots here. I am glad to know that some of you are interested in my project.

Go into the second layer and finish the top of the houses. And don't worry, these forums aren't so speedy that you have to announce when you won't be on and when you come back. And double posting for screenshots and other picture attachments is perfectly fine.

Hey there! Nice screenshot, but isn't it a bit plain?
Can't you put something more intersting in that random expanse of paving, like a fountain or tree?, Oh, and another tip - you might want to look into using a cbs or real time battle system to emulate the KH real-time battle system. I;m not a graet fan of it myself, but there we go...

well... this could potentially be a good game, but as I see it right now, it's... sub par... and that's being generous.

your battlecharacters don't even match, you're using RTP battle backgrounds with mismatched battlecharas and rips from KH, it just doesn't flow, using the default RM2k3 battle system for KH is probably not a good idea, look into a good CBS,

Also, four brand new characters and nothing other than the name KH and some heartless don't qualify it as KH, and though you may not like the Disney aspect of Kingdom Hearts, it's what made it such an original and charming game, I personally liked it cause I got to use some of my childhood favorites,

So in other words, you pretty much need a very large overhaul,
make it seem more KH, not just randomly put together with KH slapped on...

I agree with pretty much everythin Glitch said, BUT this does has the potential to be a good game, being a kh fan myself i will be eager to see how you are getting on every noun again, keep workin hard at it and maybe try and get a bit of disney into it, even if it is only very little, anyway well done so far

Just for the record, the RPGM2k3 version of New Awakining is not going to be the final one. I am going to find a 3D game maker to make the actual version, KH:NA is just a simple RTP plus original chara game, plus the person who said the charasets don't match they do because I made them using charaset maker and then I customized the battle charsets. The faces were cool anime faces I got to match my charas from a site, and the reason I can't do a cbs is because I want game making to be simple, not hard. That's why RPG Maker was made. To make game making easy. And you know, I really can't make sprites, and making a charset of every enemy is just a pain. I will use a 3D Chara Creator to make my enemies, charas, etc. But KHNA is just for the fun of me, my friends, and anyone else interested. Also for the record, this is my first game on 2k3. I made a game on RPG Maker 2 once, but Cbs are quite hard to do. So if anyone can post a cbs KH link, I'd be happy, but if not, I don't know why I even posted this game. Maybe I should spend a month trying to figure out how to make one. I just want hapiness, and I am responding to what everyone else said. I know more than 10 people who want this game to come true. And, I will not deny them.  _sweat_

I'm back! and why I was gone is nobodys buisniss. I came to check up on how it was goining and we've been doing better then I expected. And about the Disney characters I'm allowing some "SOME" _veryangry_ nothing past Donald and Goofey, maby two or three more but only if there cool. So consult me on other ones baconman.

Im not stopping the games production, I've just been a very busy little boy lately with MMORPG addictness and working on the game....Keep hope my friends, I dont abandon ideas  :sweet:
