Well, this project is still in design phase, hence the lack of a title, but the core plot is about 75% mapped out with the rest only needing to be written down and tweaked to a final version, so there are no screenshots or graphics at all yet. I haven’t even truly decided if I am going to even make a game out of it, nor which platform to make it on. Also, I realize that the four bios for the characters are a little brief and vague, but I’ll update them at a later time when I’m finished with the core plot and I have more brain power to work with. I apologize for the length ahead of time and I appreciate your comments, so long as they’re constructive.
The Dawn of the Ageless:
The Gateway of Light, a sentient portal to a realm none have ever returned from. Long before man had spread throughout the realm, the Gate peered deep into the future. Seeing the death and destruction man would do unto itself, the Gate realized the need to protect both itself, and the realm beyond it. Thus it created a spirit in the likeness of man. That spirits name was Sartic. He would reside in the temple for all eternity, using the powers granted to him by the Gate to protect the portal at all costs.
Millennia had passed before Sartic was forced to first use his powers. Man had since populated most of the realms surface, only avoiding the most bleak and dangerous of its locations. It was at the height of what was called The Golden Age of Man that disaster befell the realm. A realm traveling demon named Dar’Geron single handedly enslaved the entire realm, his tyranny holding for almost two-thousand years. The Gate, realizing the danger it would be in should Dar’Geron ever find the island, charged Sartic to find a solution to this problem. His solution was simple; he would create a group of guardians that could defend the realm from outside of the temple where the Gate stood.
Long did Sartic comb the Soul Pool for worthy beings. In the end, he selected four of the most qualified souls to have ever lived and died. His first choice was a barbarian king who had been killed defending his home from a superior force. The second, a fiercely hunted assassin who had become legendary in his time. Thirdly, there was an empress who’s magical affinity was unmatched by none other. The final, a powerful warrior, driven by betrayal to conquer all the lands of the realm, his campaign resulting in his death in the end, but not before he was able to fulfill his revenge on his betrayer.
With his chosen four, Sartic resurrected an ancient ritual, never before performed in this realm. The ritual was named the Right of the Ageless. Those who received this right became something akin to gods. Though not truly immortal, the Ageless were much more powerful then their mortal counterparts and true to their name, would never age a day until they were killed. Each of the Ageless were given the ability to command the forces of one element of their choosing, an ability that would only grow stronger with time. There was, however, one side effect to the ritual being performed on the newly resurrected. Each of the four lost the memories of their previous lives.
With his new guardians now fully prepared, Sartic sends them out into the realm to defeat Dar’Geron. From then on, they would battle many foes in their roles as guardians. They would see many allies come and go and end up being in the very center of the ultimate confrontation of Light and Darkness. This is their story, from their rise to their fall. Only the Gateway of Light itself knows what will truly happen in the end…
The Ageless:
Ravis
Weapon: The Infinity Blade, the Sword of Time
Elemental Affinity: Soul
Ravis the Conqueror, warrior legend of his time. He is the leader of the Ageless, the sentient sword Infinity Blade symbolizing this and giving him even more power. His power to manipulate the Soul Pool makes his magical powers matchable by no one. His only true weakness is the same as the one that drove him to death in his first life; his emotions can lead him to rash decisions.
Taurlin
Weapons: Twin scimitars, infused with the Element of Fire
Elemental Affinity: Fire
The Assassin, Taurlin. Physically the strongest of the Ageless, though his strength doesn’t hinder his ability with his twin blades in anyway. His affinity to fire stems from the burning rage that seizes him in battle. Unlike the other Ageless, his magical and combat abilities are nearly indistinguishable from one another as he has seamlessly merged them into one, complete style. His former life as an assassin has made him more brutal and direct then his allies and he is quick to anger, easily giving into the rage boiling just beneath the surface.
Hasieda
Weapon: Dai’Lum Katana, Katana of Light and Darkness
Magical Affinity: Life
Hasieda, the Empress of Magic. She commands the force of Life itself, able to repair all but the most fatal of wounds. Her weapon, born of both Light and Darkness, can be used to harm or heal, depending on her intent. It’s affinity to Light aids her in channeling her healing magic to aid her allies, where the Darkness in the blade can be called upon to viciously wound an opponent. She is plagued by nightmares, a fact she shares with no one. Thought she can remember nothing of these nightmares, she wakes nearly everyday with a feeling of dread for the future.
Tensin
Weapon: Battle axe
Magical Affinity: Gravity
The Barbarian King, Tensin. With his mighty axe, there are none that can stand before him in battle. Those who do manage to defeat his skill with his axe meet the terrible force of his Gravity affinity, often being crushed by an invisible force even before they realize they have been defeated. True to his former barbarian nature, his combat style is berserk and reckless, often leading him to injury he might have otherwise avoided.

...but im only wondering how you can make them become strongfer in time?
Perhaps that will be my answer to the whole exp/level system. As I said, I haven't decided yet.
