Here is a puppet i have been working on for about an hour.
Still working on the hat and the thing you hold on to to make him move ( the two pieces of wood). I might add clothes later.

MS Paint actually isn't THAT bad.. sure, it's a little too simple if you want nice shiny effects and whatever, but if all you're doing is drawing and coloring, it's fine.
Just as long as you don't try to convert something into a different color-depth with it.

I agree with Ril. Paint is pretty useful for basic pictures and stuff, but if ya try to be too technical with it it'll hate you... :D
Smaller things are better.
