Hey guys. Well, I had an old thread on my game, but new is better, and it would've been a MAJOR topic kick. So, if you want to read about my game and such, you can go here (http://freewebz.com/aos18) either that or just click homepage that's below my sig.
Now, over this weekend I made a game trailer. If you want to see it, then go here: (removed because angelfire is gay)
My game site has information on the story, it has character bios, screenies, and well, that's it. XD. Well, hope you like 'em. :D

Wow. Thanks, I really appreciate the compliment. Funny too, that was the first trailer I've ever made. Well, thanks again, and I'm glad that you liked it. Oh BTW: you know that when I said coming soon I meant the first demo, right? Cuz if you didn't, I'm sorry, but the full version still has a while yet to come. Thanks though. :D

The trailer was not the best I've seen, but what I loved with it was that it gave away alot of feeling. :sweet:
What I saw of the mapmaking was good, some maps were better than others but they were pretty good over all. ^.^
And you chosed the perfect music I must say.
And that menu system, very impressive.
You have quite a talent in making trailers, maybe I could borrow some help from you in the future? What do say? :)
BTW, people of charas... You should't let this thread die yet.

^Thanks Robotam. And frankly, I'm glad it's not the best you've ever seen, it only took me a day or so to create, XD. But about the trailer thing, sure I'd be glad to help. I'm not the best at these things, but when you need it, I'll give it a shot. Thanks though, I like the "feeling" you get from it too. lol.
To everyone: Sorry, but Angelfire went gay on me, and removed the download, and my account. Grr... But I'm trying to get it uploaded to another site, so hopefully it won't take long. Sorry. Damn you Angelfire... :yell:

Yeah, I know it sucks. Well, does anybody know of a good site that I'd be able to host this at? If worst comes to worst, I'm gonna have to host it with freewebz. :( So, anyone know any good hosts? *They have to be free*

I just started the download, it will take 2 and a half hours, but I'm willing to wait that long. I love watching trailers :)
Edit: Damn, I tried dling it twice but it always stoped on me, I guess I'll have to wait till you get it to a better server... :(

^Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. :D For my trailer, I just used Windows Movie Maker to put everything together, but I used Fraps for the screenshots.

yay, I thought that was pretty cool. I liked the slime a lot, he was pimp. Plus you don't see too many games with slimes as party members :)
Anyway, now I look forward to a demo :jumpin:

YAY! I got a new host, but I'm not totally sure it works. Sometimes something that'll work for me might not work for others, so if the link doesn't work, please tell me. I'm still keeping the other link there, but this link that I'm putting here is the new one. I'm not sure on how long this one will take, but hopefully not as long as freewebz. Err....this is really starting to p!ss me off. Well, here's a different link to the same trailer. Hopefully it'll actually work. I must've mistaken, cuz I thought that when you host something such as this they'll actually keep it up. I guess that when you have a free account, you only get 24 hours to keep it up. [sigh] Well, here's the new link, I suggest that you watch it quick, cuz it seems that it really does only host something for 24 hours.

Cant you make it into a flash or something? Or even a low quality gif? For some reason, my computer dosent feel like downloading it in less than 3 hours.

Hmm...what kind of connection do you have? If you have dial-up, it shouldn't take 3 hours, but maybe a half hour at the most. I myself have DSL and it only takes like 8 minutes. DragonBlaze has dial up, and it only took him about a half hour. Now, if you download it from my freewebz site, then yes, it probably will take about 3 hours. But the new link, it should be faster. Also, I don't really now how to turn it into a flash, or low quality gif, one reason, WMM won't let me. Sorry.

I dont know what the problem was, but it downloaded fine now.
I liked the screens and the whole slime being in your party thing, but the clips themselves seemed choppy. I think it would have turned out much better as a flash, (and a much smaller size), but it'd probably be a lot more difficult, I wouldnt know, I dont know flash.
Still, The game is looking good so far. I look foreward to updates.
BTW: That "Coming Soon... Hopefully" part cracked me up XD

Ok, well glad it worked for you. And yes, it prob. would have been better as a flash, but I don't know how to use it either. Truly, this was just something I put together while I was bored over the weekend. I know the scenes look kinda choppy, but hey, it is my first time. Glad you liked it though. And the Coming Soon Hopefully thing is actually true, it wasn't just for laughs, even though I got a kick out of it too. XD. It doesn't mean that I might not make the game, it just means hopefully I can get a demo out soon, just in case that wasn't clear. With school 'n all, it's kind of impossible to actually give out a set date for when it'll come out. So, I figured that'd do. :D
