Downloaded, now I've just got to get the RMXP RTP.
Is sharing RMXP games against the rules?

i geusse sharing rmxp games is not illegal but providing rmxp download sites is illegal.
so i geusse what majin sam is doing is not illegal.

Actually, games are okay, as long as you made them with the legal trial version of RMXP, so don't tell anyone which you made it with, because we all know that you did make it with the free legal trial version.

Im downloading right now. I'm surprised that its downloading at a good speed. Usually when people host their stuff on freewebs, the download goes really slow.
I don't think it should be against the forum rules to post up games made with rmxp, even if you used an illigal version (don't say if you did or didn't anyway though). Rm2k and Rm2k3 are both illigal programs and yet we are allowed to post games made with them, and they require rm2k(3) on your computer to make them work, as were you don't need them for some rmxp games.

The site does not support links to rm2k/3 but it's okay for links to rm2/3 games which were made using illegal rm2k/3 downloads...
Back to subject, can you play rmxp games without having the program rmxp?

I'd like some feedback from those who have played it. If you're having trouble read the Help and FAQ Notepad document supplied with it.

I've played a bit of the demo, and here's what I have to say. First off, it needs more on an intro. The intro is what gets the player initially hooked to the game, and well, you didn't really even have an intro. :|
Second thing is that you need to make something to make you're game stand out from others. I've played at least 20 rmxp games that use all of the defult gfx and bmgs, I know that that cannot really be helped right now since there are hardly any rmxp gfx made. Anyway back to the point, do some stuff to make your game stick out. Some things that may help to make your game stick out are a title screen, some non-rtp bmgs, a good solid intro, not using the ashes sprite for the main hero (he's used in over half of the games made with rmxp that I've played), and whatever else you can think of.
Anyway from what I've played its not bad, but it can get a lot better :)

I think you can set it up like rm2k where it includes the rtp files with the game so you don't need them. In rm2k3 though that option never worked (or at least in any of the versions I've tried).

Firstly, in the demo there are things you will miss unless you look around. For example, most have finished the demo with the Guard Armour and Original Clothes. Did you know there is a third costume?
Also, the desert, although small holds two of the many secrets the full version will include.
Also, this is just a demo, the final version will include an intro, the main character will NOT be that Arshes guy, and the King's castle north of Goalin will have a sub quest (see if you can guess from what's there already).
There will also be two rival parties and my Reputation System along with Good and Evil types and story arcs.
Also, something will lurk a large wood!
