Post by: Almeidaboo on January 20, 2005, 11:16:52 AM
I needed somthein to record some gameplay so that i could make my game´s "trailer"...does anyone knows how?

I was told to ask Ace or Ghostclown...I haven´t seen Ace for a long time, so I hope ghostclown´s around....

Fraps records gameplay although its not good quality unless you buy the full version. Here's the site.

No problem. :) I found back in the day when I used to play Morrowind a lot.  Most of the modders used it for making trailers.

So this thing just records everything on your desktop when you have it on?

Yeah, and it works perfectly fine...i get this "wretched line" on the movie, but it think this is about the demo version...Plus u can only record 30 secs with 30ftp....but it´s very cool....u press F9 (change this hotkey if ur gonna use for rpgm2k3) to star recording and f9 to stop...the files are rather big though.....thenn u throw it in movie maker and u got ur trailer....
