Title: Zelda 2005 Discussion Thread

Okay.  Zelda 2005 is pumping my adrenaline, so I just wanna talk about it to all my RPG loving friends.

I heard that there may be voice acting and cutscenes in the new Zelda.  This is what I'm hoping for, cause it gets really tiring needing to press the A button repeatedly until the speech is complete.

I also heard on nintendo.com that it was more focused on a mature Link.  Here's a quote said by Mr. Aonuma:

"This time we're going to be focusing heavily on the more mature, grown-up Link and with that in mind we're going to be looking into ways to express him as an older individual by implementing certain features into the game."

FINALLY!

Also they said the puzzles would be harder.  Weren't they hard enough?  At least in the Game Boy ones.  But at least it'll present a new challenge.


Does anybody have any idea what the plots gonna be?

Also, here's a little thing I wanna tell.

If Ganon's in the game, it'll be better than I thought, but if TINGLE's in the game, it'll ruin my hope for a perfect game.

Tingle could be voiced by an oompaloompa! (like there are any of those still alive)

They've used Link's same little "Ha!" thing forever... I think the original voice actor may have died and tehy just kept using that sound clip.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with tingle.
"Mature" games increasingly seem to be designed, in fact, to appeal to the immature audience who like blood 'n' guts.
Voice acting might work, but then again it might not. I'm not sure it would fit with the whole zelda thing. Just as long as they don't cast Arnold Schwarzenegger as Ganondorf. O_O

I will not play a Zelda game unless it is from the top down view of the original and GBA games. I can safely say I will not be missing out, mostly because I do not own and do not plan to own a nintendo console anytime soon anyway.

i've seen a trailer from the game.....and it makes me drool:D
i know im the greatestestest zelda fan of all cuz i got all games...even the ones on the first nintendo who where hard to get here in Holland.
but bout the new Zelda...just 2 things...kick @$$ and the greatest graphics of all.
the story i still didn't figure out...but i heard there wquz a new evil afoot...i don't know if Ganon is in da game...but if he is...he's not the main villain....thats all i can say:D
