I'm not sure how long ago this was, but I'm sure some of you have heard about it. I don't know his name, but this guy own this late night talk show. He had a girlfriend that he promised to marry and give her everything.
Some time later after the promise, he broke up with her, and she was furious. She went to the courts and attempted to sue him for breaking the promise for 4 million dollars.
I really don't know what is wrong with that girl, but it seems to me that she was only in the relationship for money. Since he broke up with her, she tried to sue him and get money that way, but I don't remember what happened after that. I hope the judge was smart and just threw the case out. I would.

I hate the whole greed factor in relationships. It makes me ill.

25% of my relationships were started through greed.

Yeah, it's wrong. I guess that there's some sort of thing that you can file when you get married, that certain things that are your are only yours, and they don't belong to your spouse. So, if you were to break up, then there wouldn't be any fuss over who's is who's. I don't understand that though. If your marrying someone, that means that you want to live with them for the rest of your life. I'd think that you'd want to be able to trust them. If you do file for one of those, doesn't that mean you don't really trust them? I dunno. It's wrong, nonetheless.

It's called a Prenuptial Agreement, yeah it basically is a contract that allows that person to keep everything, or if that person dies, their mate won't get anything. It's wrong in a way, but would you want to take the chance of someone marrying, then divorcing you and taking away everything you have?
It happened to Edgar Allan Poe. There was a woman he was about to marry, and she wasn't going to marry him until he signed a prenup, he left her after she presented it.
I was told that if the person your marrying really loves you, she/he wouldn't care about the prenup because she/he knows that you two will be together forever and try to solve your problems instead of ending the arguement with the word "divorce".
