This one, I'm not doing anything fancy because whenever I do RPG Maker pisses me off and and I stop using it for about half a year -_-.
There's no title yet, but the story is this:
You are Felix, an upper-middle class guy who lives in Pineville with his father. The year is 1023. He is taking a train to Solado to see the Lunar Flower bloom, it blooms every Winter solstice and Summer equinox and withers afterwards. This is the first time he's travelled alone, and he is nervous about the train ride. The train is packed full of people. The train starts moving, and he starts to feel okay. After 4 hours, the lights go out and the train stops. People are screaming and a loud roar shakes everything living on the train to it's core. Felix passes out. When he awakes, he peeks out of his compartment to find many people unconcious or freaking out. He steps out of the train to find that both the train and the trains surroundings have completely changed. The train is now old and rusty and the tracks are in the middle of a desert. A group of drifters on the train step out and start panicking. Felix befriends them and they start walking along the tracks, hoping to find someone. They arrive at Solado to find it's the year 421, the year the Lunar Flower was planted.
That's the start, you will have to wait to find out what stopped the train!
Characters
Felix, age 15
Always does the right thing. Has crush on Susanne.
Weapon: Screwdriver
Susanne, age 20
Pure, righteous, doesn't appreciate\notice Rocket's attempts to woo her. Hates Felix.
Weapon: Tomahawk
Rocket, age 21
Bad-***, in love with Susanne. He doesn't let his emotions show but will do anything to save his friends.
Weapon: Gear Scimitar
Roller, age 19
Susanne's brother. Best friends with Rocket.
Weapon: Cudgel

If you could do a midi of a french-italian type town with slow accordian, peaceful and whatnot it would help me out.

Backstory!
Felix's mother died giving birth to him. Uhm, yeah.
Rocket is an orphan from the desert town Lunaro, meaning he is a child of the moon. Children of the moon have a light inside of them he is not aware of. When his emotions take the best of him his mooney powers are unleased. He lives in Solado now.
His best friend Rocket is the big brother of Susanne, and they are very close. They were both born in very large city of Solado and visit the Lunar Flower twice a year.

I got RPG Maker to eat mp3s!
Now the game will have real music.
Like, um, a different style of music for every level. But no rap or Linkin Park.

Well, it does sound good, like it will delve deeper. Good stuff.
But... are you planning to use mp3s for every part? One or two is ok, but that would effect the size. Alot.
