Every time I see somebody use them, I see somebody reply to the post in question saying "please don't use gun smilies". This makes me wonder... is there a reason why you couldn't just... disable them?

 I was wondering this too... and I think the answer is: Because if you have a reason to use it, than you can use it.

 But we dont need 3 gun smiles, maybe just one?

i think gun smileys where made just like, fun?
and instead of gun smileys you could also just use the: XD emoticon lol

Gun smileys are traps. A noob uses one and we go "HA! NOOB!"

Otherwise, we wouldn't tell the noobs apart from the others quite so easily. (sigh... I fell for the trap in my first post...)

thank god. it's soo liucky that I know moosetroop personally. i'm a noob by the way. but i agree that the gun smileys suck.  :badboy: this looks soo much like an animation from ffVI ( though you've probably heard that soo many times

I don't think I've ever heard that, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention.
