Title: Listen to them, if you can...
Post by: wildguy3922 on March 23, 2005, 01:23:23 AM
All right, I'm starting midi making, because I need it. Here's my very first midi, I hope it isn't crap. This is kinda like a "oh crap" feeling. Critism is welcome, so I know what I can improve on. Please just don't post, "it sucks" I would appreciate it.

Pretty unorganised. The squeeky thing hurts poor shino's ears.

T'was your first, you say? Then Not that bad, for a first.

Well, that's what I was trying to do. Each instrument has a basic rhythm, and so many rhythms are going on at the same time, you don't know what the heck is going on. That's the kinda feeling I was trying to make.

sounds pretty good for a first midi!

i suggest that maybe instead of the same beat throughout the entire thing, maybe you should make some parts higher tempo/lower tempo.  besides that, good job! :smoke:

I don't have a good enough program to speed up tempo, only a basic one.

And when I said same rhythms, they are the same, but they get higher or lower in tone each time.

I've made two more Midi's and I think they are better. Thanks for the program name Osmose.

This one sounds like it would fit a town.

Here's the next one, it kinda sounds like it would go with an airship.
