I was driving in Oxnard and say a sign saying "Carmen Drive"

Well, carmen is a real name. So, it's not that unusual or big of a deal. However, if you saw a sign that said Darkfox Lane, or Kijuki_Magazaki Drive. Or even GhostClown Rd.! That would be amazing!

It was actually quite embarrassing. I was in a car with some others and on noticing the license plate in front of us, I actually laughed out loud. Made me look like a complete fool.

rofl I understand the feeling XD several times I have come across similar things though not as rare, and I have done different things (laughed, chuckled, point, roll eyes, sighed) and in front of other people. It feels quite weird indeed XD

What I wanna do is get the crap to make a street sign, set it out in the Acredge(redneck area), and spraypaint "Moose Crossing" with a sillouete(SPELLING DEMONS!) of my avatar on it.
