Hey everyone, I'm the new guy in town.
I'm not sure exactly how to introduce myself but I'll try.
I kinda got myself off on the wrong foot by not reading the forum rules and posting a request as my first post. Thanks to BlackSkullWarlock for pointing that out to me.
I'm not new to RPG Maker, in fact i started with the program back when the 95 version was still running. I created a bunch of unfinished games with the 2K version and i'm working on my first fully fledged project (which I serious hope to finish) in RM2K3. I think a good title for it would be "The Age of Might". Who knows, maybe one of you guys will be able to play it one day.
I've always had a dream of creating video games and i've used programs from MUGEN (if any of you remember that) all the way to the early version of RPG toolkit. Unfortunately C++ is german to me (and i don't speak german) so using RPG Maker is the closest I can get to fulfilling my dream. University doesn't help much with that, at least for me.
I am currently educated at the University of Toronto trying to figure out what i can make of my life.
I used to be big with designing and editing graphics, and I might even have a few left from those days on my hard drive somewhere to show. Unfortunately as school became more challenging I had less time to work on this stuff.
Anyway, you didn't ask for my life's story, I just want to introduce myself to the Charas community and let everyone know that I'm not gonna be one of those newbie ghosts (who join, request, and disappear forever).

I was a newbie ghost who came, requested and left... but not forever. Well, welcome to Charas. I see you're older than me. Don't expect me to hold back on you though if you make a mistake. Also, if you feel like posting your game, post it in the game thread. post info on it or whatever. I'd be glad to critique it.

Thnx rune. Yep, I am older, but I'm probably not as skilled. I'll be looking forward to your criticism. I just hope I can finish this project and make it good.

welcome to charas, good luck with your game, and be sure to credit the people you use resources from... i cant draw, so none of them will be mine, but i can look for any errors in games people make, so if you need help, everyone here is pretty nice.
