Post by: Legendary Troy on March 30, 2005, 09:42:29 AM
So far since the game doc. album came out i got new favorite songs

2. Frankie J- Obsession
3. Candy Shop - 50 Cent
4.T.I- you dont know me

I like these songs because they provide a good beat and thier rhymes are tight!!! Espesially Hate it or Love it, that song is off tha chain!!!!

"I just wanna chill and twist a la, Catch suns in my 7-45,You drive me crazy shorty I,Need to see you and feel you next to me
I provide everything you need and I, Like your smile I don't wanna see you cry, Got some questions that I got to ask and I
Hope you can come up with the answers babe"

Don't mind my opinion, but that music sucks. :D

2005 songs? There's been nothing that springs out of mind this year. I think.

At the same time, you have to respect the composers - they can make music off the spot, and make it fit the right mood. Especially boss music. Or perhaps they can make a random battle music that you have to hear millions of times, and make it something you don't get sick of (too easily). But this isn't what you want this topic to be about, sorry. :)

There's absolutely nothing recent that catches my attention. Music-wise, I'm living in the past.
No wait, "Break free" by (Names confidential). Yeah, that rocked.

The only song I ever liked in 2005 is "Arrancacorazones" of Attaque 77, but it's an argentinian band and none of you must know them... I liked Mars Volta's "The Widow" also...

The Game's Documentary is the best album out there. My favorite song from the album has to be Westside Story.

eh, well, I absolutely HATE Rap! HATE it. Maybe because it takes no skill what so ever to rap, it's just words that rhyme after another...wheres the talent in that?! you're not playing an instrument, you are not even trying to 'sing' you just talke with a rythym, and rhyme... well thats just my oppinion... i can't think of any songs that have grabbed my attention this year....i've been listening to some old rock, and metal ^_^

Game-The Documentary-Hate it or Love it
Nas-Streets Disciple-Sekou Story
Common-Corners
TI-Urban Legend- You Dont Know Me
Nas-Streets Disciple-Just A Moment
John Legend- Ordinary People

I personally hate all this "crunk" stuff..

Rap is rythym and poetry. Poetry. Rythym. Thats exactly what it is. I believe it does require some skill to rap. It requires less skill to scream into a microphone. Opinion. End.

I really dont care about 50 cents history its just that the music he makes is awesome!!!

I hope T.I comes up with sumthin new, his songs are getting old..........

It does take skill to rap because it requires mind, rappers always think of new rhymes even when thier eatin or sleeping!

Oh I almost forgot. Msi (Mindless Self Indulgence) is a band. And a band called Icp (insane clown posee) heard Msi and signed em up. But just go to kazaa or winmx and download some of hteir music....Or you can go look for their albums at best buy or something.

I recall you saying they rocked some time ago!
If my mp3 player could connect with my computer, I could give you a cover version of BOBD that would make you BEG for a bullet in the head.

Meh. My music taste fluxtuates. And pretty much any cover will make me beg for a bullet to the head. Take Korn's cover of "The Wall", or Motley Crue's cover of "Anarchy in the UK"

Umm hey all u pop listening morons... American Idiot and all subsequent poorly chosen singles came out in 2004, just because that gay song boulevard of broken dreams's crappy single came out this year, the song came out last year.... soo... Don't really count does it?

Ehh, sorry about that. Its just that not much has come out this year. The last good album to come out was In Love and Death from the Used in 2004, or at least in my opinion.

About on-topic part, I'm not really up-to date.

a long time ago I noticed something.  when someone doesn't like rap that's all you hear when it's mentioned. you might as well be like "ewww!!!"
but people that don't care for rock (like me) never act like that. but then again everyone tolerates diferent music, like when it's in movies and stuff.
but anyways I can't think of a good 2005 song,  I like slim thug's CD, is that 2005? I have the Game and 50 cent's new cd's but i only listened to em twice.
