Title: Two Images

Hey guys.  I was playing around in the Gimp yesterday and made a couple of pics I'd like to share with you all.  Please tell me what you think.

The first started off as a coffee stain actually and evolved into what you see below.  I think it looks rather nice, but I'm going to work on the stars as I'm still not completely happy with them.  It's decorating my laptop at the moment in the form of wallpaper.

Number two is simply as fire with a face in it.  Not intended to look perfect (mainly the "ground") as it was more of an experiment...  The smoke took a surprisingly long time to do as it was harder to make then I originally thought.

Thanks for the compliments guys.  As for how I made 'em, I used The Gimp, which is a freeware image program developed for Linux and ported to Windows.  It's much like Photoshop and other such programs.  For the space thingie, I made everything but the stars in it.  The stars I made with a little program called Starbits, which makes star feilds obviously.  The rest of it and the other one was made through trial and error and a nice bit of creativity.
