Title: Monster Help

Post by: Dragonium on March 30, 2005, 07:26:59 PM: Hmmph. Well, it's in my game anyway. Besides, robot animals of some kind are used even more, and are just as bad.

In my game, the Giant Lobster thing works in a similar way to the X-ATM sequence in FF8. (Run away, if it catches you, fight it, after you've done so much damage game forces a flee, rinse and repeat)

Another type of monster that I like is to take two of the weaker monsters in your database, and fuse them into a new monster. It's surprisingly underused.

Sure, FF7 had the Materia Keeper, and FF8 had the Grand Mantis, but I see no Needlebugs in the Complete Resources! :D

Pay the dumb NPC some money to fight his long lost cousin in his back yard, then start a timer and see how much damage you can do within the time limit! :D

Post by: copoff on April 05, 2005, 12:46:48 AM: me i do comics and and make games , 2 come up with monsters just take an idea that has already been used and change it. like the bof 4 dragons. these dragons and the normal one like the sand dragon was a bug like creature and the water dragon was c through. or even take a normal animal and alter it . like a frog give it long ears and make it red and spit fire , then u have a fire frog , thats my idea lol , or a zombie frog or , cyborgize it , or mutate it in differnt ways. take a normal animal and change it , think of what animals live in ur areas and then change them.

Its called "Ulvojaspuge" He's about 2 meters long, looks human, wears 80's leatherclothes and drinks beer and everything, which includes alcohol. He may look like human, but instead of speaking, he howls an keeps annoying noise like this: "uh, uh, uhh!!!"
He also does some wannabe-kung fu.
