well The whole MGS series is based off of That movie. They took the char Snake Pliskin from it. (played by kurt russelll) even alot of the plot lol..so maybe the theme too?

Series based off the movie? I wouldn't say that, although the cover name Pliskin is definately a callback to the movie.

If it's not from a game, for whatever reason, than it must be from another movie that I've watched MANY MANY times. I wouldn't remember it this clearly otherwise. Thing is, that song was made by John Carpenter for that one movie. I doubt another movie would take it.

Have you seen the movie? I have. Its not really based step by step, just plot wise. How snake is working for what he's fighting against the whole time. Alota plot twists and secret agent stuff, combined with heavy weird  stuff
