Title: Chars of the best RPG ever
Post by: ZeroKirbyX on December 25, 2005, 06:27:08 AM

From left to right: Vyse, Aika, Fina, and Drachma. I cant finish them until two weeks from now (No comp....) but I maybe be able to get Gilder, Enrique, Galcian and Ramirez's front poses before I leave.

Any opinion/thoughts?

My word, its a shame when I find one who is yet to live the greatest RPG experience on dreamcast or any other system. SoA = BEST RPG EVER!

SoA? Nope, ringing no bells.

Edit: Skies of Arcadia... read about it, but whats so spectacular? It seems kinda average for an RPG of it's calibur, except that it has ship-to-ship battles, I guess that is a plus... meh, dunno.

I had Skies of Arcadia.
Wicked game. Dreamcast was actually really good.. stupid Sega Japan failed everyone again.

Oh yeah. Dreamcast was awesome. Great games, wicked gfx, yet eaten alive by Sony and Nintendo. God rest its soul.

I think piracy killed the Dreamcast. you could burn games on to cds and play with no mod chips or anything.

It totally lacked all the "why are we here? Is killing enemies immoral? Sulk whine moan." BS that plagues most RPGs. Less philosophy, more stabbing people and flying around the world. Just a downright fun game to play.

Cool character sets, though I'm not a fan of the tall style really.

They're great, though maybe a little odd looking in their 'small' form...

Those are really good, ZKX!

I have Skies of Arcadia. Or rather, a friend told me to borrow and play through it because it was amazing. I haven't seen her in a while, though. I got up to Yafutoma and just kind of... stopped. The only games I really play any more are portable ones. I really should return that game... or at least finish it.

I totally forgot I made these XD I think I'll finish these later today XD Thanks for all the comments though.

And Sai, there was not a cliched plot! There were the 6 crystals and the abd empire and the.... silver haired baddie, and the........................... Yeah it sorta was XD

The use of tall chars is mainly because I couldn't get the detai I wanted in the normal.

I never said it wasn't cliched. I said it avoided the ANGST that plagues so many games, where characters sit around mulling over their actions all day instead of shooting cannons at enemies and taking their stuff.

I know man, I was messing around. Hell, that was one of my reasons for liking it. Instead of being 'deep' before they invaded Valua, they simply said "Yes!'.

You cannot NOT have Gilder in that collection, he's one of those characters you keep in your memory.

Yeah, Gilder's cool. I think he's a lot like Zelos, whom I hear you are a fan of Robotam. :p

Damn, how could I have missed this for so many days?
Exellent work there.

It is actually true that Gilder is a lot like Zelos, they both has quite an attitude.. And they're both crazy about ladies, but I think I can recall Gilder running away from his? o.o'

Yeah... hmm... well Zelos kind of leaves the ladies at Meltokio sort of... but then again he always has Sheena there if he gets bored, even though she hates him. XD

Oh yeah, great new chars ZKX!

Here's a thinker Robotam: You like Zelos. Does that make Zelos your favorite Gigas? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

Anyway, I have Vyse and Aika done. Fina is sorta done. I'll post em soon.

Heheh, maybe I'm suppose to, but I don't.
I liked Grendel the most, he had a nice shade to it.  The fights with the gigas were the best part in the game. And those times you sneak into Valua.

I liked Rhaknam, simply because him and Drachma were so much like Ahab and Moby Dick.
