Title: New Procedures
Post by: Osmose on August 01, 2006, 05:59:44 PM
To make things a whole lot more organized, there's a new procedure I'm creating.

1. First, if you haven't already, head on over to the Team Members (http://charas-project.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=17607&forumid=39&catid=9) thread - this is so I can find info about people when I, or any other team member, needs to.
2. I encourage all to use Imageshack (http://www.imageshack.us) for all non-completed and un-rated resources. We can save bandwidth for Charas by only using the attachment feature for final resources.
3. I'm going to make a thread shortly for rating resources (http://charas-project.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=17609&forumid=39&catid=9), and one for submitting resources that have been rated (http://charas-project.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=17610&forumid=39&catid=9) and which you think are good enough to be in the game. This way, we can all suggest improvements in one thread and keep the polished versions in another so that Linkiz can take them from there.
4. The rating thread will be for an official approval, but I encourage you to make a thread for your own work, or for a category of work, so that you can get a more generalized opinion from those that aren't on the approval group.
5. I'm going to create a thread for discussion about the story - I'll be the first one to admit that it could use a lot of work from it's current form, and over the last few days I've been developing some changes I think will work well. Nothing too major, but criticism is needed and welcomed.

I hope that these changes will not only keep us more organized, but streamline the game creation process and help improve the quality of the game.

Just a question, but where do I put examples of my coding?

I guess you could make your own thread for it. I mean, you don't exactly fit into the standard process. :P

Yay! I like making threads!
Lets spin an old yarn, y'all.
There once was an...

Anyway, I think that's where you should tell me what to code, once we start making the cutscenes and such.
