Title: Charas Quick Links to Tutorials.
Post by: Meiscool-2 on February 15, 2007, 08:08:42 PM
Because people thought it was a good idea, I'll start this.

Basically, you post a link to a tutorial that might be helpful to rpgmaker or rpg making. This means, you could post a link to a tutorial on how to make a midi, or you could post a link on how to do pixel art. Tutorials don't have to be things like how to make a map and such. Also, you should follow a certain format so people can Crtl + F (Command: Find) to find the tutorial type they want.

Format:
(Type of Tutorial) - (Description) (If language is not english, please tell what language it is here)
(Link)

I don't have any at the moment... so yeah, I'll edit this when I find some helpful tutorials.

So, if you didn't understand, you are free to add your own links to tutorials here. You are also free to request tutorial links here as well, so long as you do it in a respectful manor.

Well. There is already http://charas-project.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=14939&forumid=29&catid=6

Not much point in two stickies with the same purpose. But if you want to make an updated version, sure.

Thats for charas-made tutorials. This is more for posting links to tutorials off site, plus her anyone could post them, and anyone could ask for a link to them, so its kinda the same idea, but differant.

Yeah, I expected people to post tutorials on different sites, rather than link us to stuff that's already here :|

@MrMister, when there's more, I will.

Updated first post. A few coding tutorials that some of your newbies may want to take a look at. I've read over most of them, and they seem to be accurate.

First post updated to now fit other tutorials. If you post a tutorial, I'll place it on the first post. I will NOT place charas tutorials on the first post; there is another topic for that already.

Also, everyone, go ahead and post some tutorials! If you've made some in NotePad, please give me the link and I'll post them here. I'm also looking for some good English spriting tutorials, so you could help me out by posting one if you know any.

Wow... over 2 years old.

Please don't topic kick. Check the date before you post

Uhm, I think this rule doesn't apply for stickied threads.

I'm not sure, but if the links worked or something that'd be fine, but it's a dead thread, with no sticky. I don't think you're supposed to topic kick, even if it is a sticky.

Well, he is allowed to kick stickied threads... As long as there is a reason for it.

Just trying to find some good tutorials that work thought maybe this would bring it to someones attention but I guess there is no particular "reason" for this... so I apologize.
