Okay, I just like editing generated charsets, so i'm trying to make them into anime characters. I'm not done with any of these. But heres an unfinished Naruto.
-
It's not all that good, to be honest.
The clothes lack shading.
-
It's my first charset. I finished it and here it is, (I added shading).
-
The final result was pretty good for a first charset. You should do more.
-
Thank you. But there was a problem with the charset, I fixed it:
Next up: Ichigo (Though he isn't Naruto)
-
Errr, theres no round spiky hair in the generater. And I'm pretty bad at doing hair.
-
Well, to be honest:
"It is my first charset"
Is not a good excuse for not adding shading when you know it needs it.
-
Indeed. If you never try to add what you can't do you'll never be able to do it. If you can't do it well, THEN DON'T DO IT WELL. Just do it.
-
While that's true...
The point I was trying to point out is that he is well aware the sprite needs shading, but refuses to do so because its his first sprite. If he knows it needs shading, he should introduce himself to it now and start improving instead of traveling on the N00b railroad of ease.
-
Thanks for the advice.
-
How's the hair?
-
Is the side view good?
-
It would be if all of the char's hair were the same color. Lol.
But, yeah, I enjoy it. Keep up the good work.
-
I was thinking of making a More solid colored game,
That way I'd be able to do the Chip sets, Character sets and
even the custom Body face sets for A Custom text box.
That way you could make a game based on anything,
Modern, Futuristic... Everything would be so easy to make...
-
I'm gonna work on both Ichigo and a my first battle charset, who is Cloud (Kingdom Hearts style). Is he good so far?
-
It's okay so far, but four things you'll want to do:
1. Make the scarf bigger.
2. Shade the wings. Make them bigger as well?
3. Add a flowing bit to his scarf. I think it's actually in there, so make it a bit larger.
4. Detail his sleeves.
If you were going to do that, then great. It not, well now you know what must be done! Oh, and remember to work on that shading boy!
-
Always nice to see new spriters. Keep practicing.

Exactly. Why did you point that out?
-

Changes:
Wing Bigger
Scarf bigger
Added shading to wing
Changed color of cape
Changed color of scarf
Added texture to wing
Changed cape shape
-
Instead of straight lines, make it a bit curved, not too much, but a bit.
-
How? But anyway heres what I have so far with Cloud. I'll probably finish him in a week.
-
OMG!!!!!!! I did Clouds sword in the wrong hand!!!!! Well, I just fixed it:
