Title: The Opera Gaming Network
Post by: Wratmann on January 26, 2008, 06:47:17 AM
Hello RPGMaker people!
I am Ouren,
Maybe you've heard of me somehow.

I am here to offer limited space and membership as part of the Opera Gaming Network (The OGN). The OGN is a simple and straightforward service that will be given to all promising Independent game efforts across the world. My service is simple, yet powerful.
All that is required for your game to be part of the OGN is you must pass a inspection of game design quality, and determination, and trust in your game idea.

Our basic services include:
-Powerful and elegant web hosting
-Central community for all OGN games and projects
-Full file hosting
-Advertising in the Nashville area, and on the wilds of the internet.
-Flash video support, introduce your game yourself on your OGN page.
-Blog, Vlog, Audio Podcast, and Image Podcasts supported.
-Interviews to the Designer from Ouren

Advanced services include (at no extra charge):
-Main theme composition for your game
-Ad banner
-Concept art
-Custom item and access to exclusive OGN tilesets and monsters.
-Bounce ideas off of Ouren, who is currently studying Game Design and Virtual Worlds.

Future Features (say that 5 times fast):
-Server hosting (for online games), QoS enabled for flagship titles.

The Advanced Services will not always be included, or will be included if determined developer needs that help. All of these features are optional, but OGN centers around advertising and web hosting. You can check out the "Knights of Eden", or the newly added "Stories of Kealu" OGN sites. Be aware, KoE has not sent me a lot of material for their site's content, and the game is still in development. If you wish to apply, here is a template for applications. Remember that this is only a template, and does not have to be what you use, but is the professional template that is standard in the industry (they are attached).
When you finished dotting your i's and crossing your t's, please shoot an email including your filled out application attached to Ouren009@hotmail.com

I ONLY ACCEPT SERIOUS APPLICATIONS, people with serious ambitions!

If you have any questions, email please.

Thank you,
Wolfgang Wozniak

P.S.
This is all free in case you were wondering.

P.S.S.
Donations GREATLY needed. Thank you.

Search google with OGN. First result is the "Ocean Gaming Network".

Ok, on Google, I typed Opera Gaming Network and the first results were about Nintendo using Opera for the Wii.  I had to type "Opera Gaming Network" to get it.

And, some of the mapping looks really weird in the Knights one.  And the second one really, seems odd. As it had RmXP character graphics in the news page...  and I can tell  that both are using the default map graphics, as I tried that program that's making them before, and both of the games are showing me anything I really see unique about them.

Those two are not useing RPGmaker at all. Its useing an MMORPG game maker, called XtremeWorlds.

Those two are not my games, and I am only supporting them. The two designers just bounce ideas off of me.

They still need to send me more material for their sites.

I assume you mean -aren't-.

XW developers are not pixel artists by trade. That's why they need more staff members and TALENTED people like you all of this community~!

OGN serves as a base for any indy game, but is focusing on RPGMaker__ and XW games at the moment.

Oops, yes i did.  What I'm saying, is that XW uses chipsets and etc. from originally made for RPG Maker resources.  I had forgotten the name of the program, and yes, I did use it before, and frankly, the interface of it did not impress me.
