Hi,guys i just thought i'd show off my own sprites and stuff.We begin with one from
back beffore i joinned this forum.Back when i was watching Star Gate Sg1.I orgininaly wanted
to make a star gate rpg,and still might.

You gotta make it yourself then upload it on Photobucket or Imageshack.

you should try working on your own style of characters rather than using templates. Sure it's fine to use templates but you will be alot better off if you find a style that wrks well with you. That way when you do decide to do a project it will have a more custom feel as well as things seeming close together. (As opposed to some RPG's people have made combining random crap not caring as much) Bt yeah just keep practicing. ^_^

Hello folks, Fish here. I need your help with somthing. This is a Face set i've been reworking for a game called Legondo Rising. I've been working on it three years. It is the story of a young man named Cloud McCloud five other pepole unite to save thier world from a threat from beyond thier galaxy. The story is set in a paralel world similiar to your own....but very diffrent. More on that latter. Right now I need your opinion on this face set, and to save time, can anyone recomend or make a chara set that macthes this face set's hair? The fist one was the one of the first one's I did, and is only there to show how the face has progressed. The second one is the current one and the next is one i'm thinking of using, but don't know if it will look good of not.

Looks like it matches him pretty well. Dunno if it's just me, but I think that the hair is probably the most important part of any sprite to make them unique. Cause almost everyone's face is the same, and their outfits can change.
The only thing I see wrong might be when he's facing the side, he head seems to be going out a bit forward. Perhaps pull it back one square?

I think it's actually his shoulder/neck that gives the awkward look. One pixel difference, really. Also -- the yellow trimming of his coat could use another shade, that or a darker yellow through-out. It stands out far too much, I'd think.

I was kind of afriad that making have too many layer of color would look slopy. Thanks for the coments, Muraiko and Hell Angel. I'll post up another one when i have some time.

Hmm, the top of the hair could need some changes. It almost looks like if he's tilting his head downwards at the moment.
And the cross which I suppose is some kind of zipper seems misplaced after the top of the shirt was edited.

I'm actauly not sure. David's very first outfit is generated. So it could be.

As some of you know, i've been giving cetain memebers "cristmas presents". These "Presents" were thank yous to the pepole of this forum who've helped me or have been good freinds. They were called "Charas Action Figures".

Series one is in this order.
1:Boozer: This guy is good freind of mine and always has somthing good to say about some one.
Boozer is in his Warped grab feuturing a blaster proof flight suit and his traditional cape. He also has his M42 blaster, his "barowed" lightsaber, and a Thermal deteonator! Cuse blowing stuff up is always so much fun!
2: Prpl Mage: I made this becuase without his ABS tutorial I probbly never would have made the Ship to Ship battle system. This figure feutures one of his cystal swords and "Comet Stor" Spell tome I gave him for his Iventory.
3: Lonewolf: This member is a good freind of mine and was the one who showed me the ropes of Charas. He is feutured in his Outfit from Warped as Chief Lonewolf of the Kiowa tribe of Xia Lan. He fetures a bow with arrows and his Tamahawk: Stonsqual.
4: Jet : He's one of best friends if not my best freind. We have are own RP which helps me to devop Warped and him to inprove Noise. Jet
fuetures his original weapon his Chain Sickle and his hand gun. He is dressed in a specail oufit I custom made for him called Bloodstained Wings. He aslo comes with a hole lot of bulets and a Twinkie that has been in Hyperdrive. Mmmm Hyper drive reactant ...*Drools*
5: Fisherson. It's me! I just thought this set could use me. This set fetures: My lightsaber which has clamed the life (and head) of many new memebers. My DL-22 modified blaster and A foce flame the unique force skill of David Dent in Warped.
6: Angel Walter: This guy is my good friend on the internet and is great for bouncing ideas off of. His is dresed in his typical overcoat and feutures a mytic staff and his Transmutation aray.
7: Hell Angel: I want to thank him for volunteering to make all the music for Warped. This caracter is what I imagine he looks like. It comes with a customized guitar to repsent him making awesome tunes. Rock on man!
8: Muraiko: This dude inproved my Ship to ship battle system to greatness and his my programing adviser for Warped. He is dressed in his Mercanary gearr from Warped. amnd comes with his Katana: Master-of-fate. He aslo has a shuriken and special multifuction bombs that can despense smoke, poisoned gas, and flasheds of light. Ahh! Flashes my one weakness!

1: Phayre: Phayre is one of my favorite members because she's so smart and funny and can always make me smile. :) See?
Phayre is feutured in a her Warped "Fencer's Costume" the outfit she chooses to wear when she becomes a member of David's crew. She has a Light Foil her weapon in Wapred. It's a little weaker than a lightsaber, but it can be weilded by non-force sensitves and she's quite good with it.
2: Lilsniffs: This little dude is pretty cool and some one I consider a freind.
Lilsniffs is in his traditional outfit and comes with the "Ordacion", a sword of my own personal deisign. It's a combination Braod sword and Gladius.
3: InsaneJP: Without his awesome artwork, I might have never made my own battlers and my "Sprite Sized Weapon templete".
InsaneJP's figure features twin "Boshiun" (Boh-She-oon) Fighting Gloves a weapon I made for his figure. The gloves are used to both deefend and to attack. Each plate on the gloves is made from Cronex Steel a cobination of Alchemlicly treated metal and Dragon Scales. They are capable of puching through modern day tank armor and blocking armor peicing rounds.
4: Chompa: A creature from the Chara Chain Game. (I was editing Archem and made this)
These little brutes were created by the evil corparation Feind Inc. They are tough as nails and have almost no
sense of humor. They are also nearly mindless and will do the will of who ever controlls them. This figure is a replica of of the less lethal green Chompa. It comes with a Compa Spear a weapon that is made of the same stuff as the Compas themselves. It also come with exploding "Bio bomblets" to shoot at other figures.
5: Archem: Archem is just so awesome. I love his in your face attitude and the way he doe s whatever he wants to andf nobody says anything. (If the're smart that is)
Archem is a Undead being, as such he has great reistance to magic and curses. He is nearly indestructible, but don't fret, he nearly harmless. Unless you happen to not have a sense of Humor that is. He fuetures a transforming function that can be activated by purchasing diffrent figures. Some of his transformations are: Sword, Panda, and Anvil. Be sure to buy all of them or all you'll have is an Acherm figure with no functions.
6: Dudewheresmymount: The first figure made by request.
He comes with twin crome pistols with reloadable bullets. (Bullets sold sepratley)

Thanks, man. I worked realy hard on the Guanlets and your unique phisique (i'm a poetand didn't know it. Yay for me!) Poses? I had some for this one, but i'll have to find them. You have a ton of infulence, all spriters do! I met a fan of my work the other day, and Boozer might as well be wearing a "Fish's number one fan" T-shirt XD Maybe I should make one..I do enjoy a chalange.

1: Feilix-0: Feilix is a pretty cool dude and he made a chipset which serves as the interior of my starships in Warped.
Feilix is featured in a custom costume I made for his special apearace in Warped. The robe is made from Chrothian thread wich is nearly as strong as iron and can cancel the force's effect on a person's mind. It also comes with his weapon in the game: the Gaia Blade. The Gaia Blade is a sword that was created by an Alchemist in the land of Korlan on the world of Golanda. The sword has live vines growing on the sword itself reprenting the living world of Golanda and the element of Terra.
2: Lucas_irineu: Lucas has been a good freind to me latley and supports quite few of my ideas and artwork:
Lucas is featured in his usaul black outfit with cap included. he also comes complete with a Pleasent miniture, two Poke balls and his Trainer ID.
3: Bluhman: Bluhman is one of my favorite all time members of this site, not just becuase he made the Alpha Force, but also becuase I respect him.
Bluhman is in his favorite all black outfit: A buttoned up coat (or Gi maybe?) with macthing slacks. He come equiped with twin pistols that are simi automatic and are complety colapsible for quick storage. They also come with armor peircing bullets.

Here are the next bunch of figures: This time it's Keegleo, Dragonium and Talt (impresion).

The first in this series is Talt.
Talt: This is what I see her in my mind. She's one cool cat and my new favorite member.
Talt's figure features a custom Mithril Buster sword that can cut through most types of metals, but not as she found out, Archem. As she treid to foil his efforts to come on to her Archem. XD She also comes with her rocket launcher, which also was usless against that horny gost, Archem. Lol *Extra rockets not included* P.S. Try Ionic feild disrupters, they're known to melt anything. ;)
Dragonium: Even though he killed me and never seems to retun my PMs :( Dragonium is still one of the most awesome members on charas.
Dragonium's figure features features a custom made serated powered sword. Heavy armor and a realistic cape that's made from soft cloth that gives a realistic feel to it.
Keegleo: Keegleo is Dominicy's rep and, in my opinion deifiantly one of my favorites to turn into a figurine.
Keegleo features heavy, gilded armor and Valairien (Val- Lar-Re-Een-In) a custom sword made by me. The sword was forged from Brimstone and Adamantium. A curse was placed on the sword upon it's forging. "The sword's strength shall equal to the wieght of his conceince. If he can weild the sword and kill without a heavy heart the blade shall be as light as a feather." The sword's durability is tied to its owner's life force.

Grandy: Grandy makes some pretty awesome sprites and I'm a fan of his rep.
Grandy features a new custom outfit made by me called (Lightspeed Rogue). It's his custume in Warped, when he's a bandit and space piriate. He also has two customized daggers that have the ability to return to thier user after being thrown. They are caple of traveling at a speed as fast as the person using them.
Cerberus: He sugested making a figure and I made one.
Cerberus is in his classic soldeir's uniform and mask. His mask his been upgaded with night vesion, ultra violet and sonic impluse deafeners. He comes with his foul blade: Thorn which is full of poison. *Poison refils sold seprate*
X-Marks the Ed: Ed is just awesome, I love his art and his pratical jokes. Plus he let me use Jack (Who may have his own figure soon).
Chicken Man features new improved biger eyes that are filled with attitude. He is wearing a newer version of his armor with a protect jewl that creates a barrier around the user that wards off curses and magic spells. He also comes with a secretly improved version of his scythe. The new scythe is made from Adamatium and Cronuim infusion which makes it much harder to break and able to cleave almost any kind of metal including Dragon hide.

Uberpwn_w00t: This dude is pretty awesome, I mean he gave me the ultimate weapon for Warped and made the chipset that works as the Bridge and quarters of the satr ships in Warped. Thank you, man.
Uberpwn is featured in "Empirial Armor" with comes with a soft cloth cape and is made from Mithril andTitanium fused through Alchemic processes. He also comes with a Volopa Saber that is made from crystal and increase magic range and power. The sword, while small, is extreamley durable and is capable of cutting through Ethreal beings like Archem and Emerates.
Gemini: Gemini and I didn't get alog very well at first, but eventualy started to get along much better.
Gemini features a newer blue Cronium body that is much lighter, but can withstand more damage than the old version. He come with interchagible hands that feature a lazer saber and blaster with one blast. Buy upgrade chips to get more blast types. *Freeze blast included*
Frukert: I've only just realy gotten to know Frukert, but from what I already know, I like him and consider him a freind.
Frukert is in a dreamed up fantasy outfit that's primarley made of leather with undershirt made of chain mail. He comes with one of his Battle axes and his Acient Riffle that feutures gold accents that can fire canon balls, bullets or Harpoons. *Bullets, cannon balls and harpoons sold sepratley*
The next figures are going to be: AFL, Emerates and Red Fox (Apleman).

AFl: He's a pretty cool dude and good music makker.
AFl is featured in a "Marching band" outfit of his own deisign. He comes with a weapon I call "Wraith's Syphony" It's a musical finstrument that feutures a Ultra sonic pluse emitter and can turn into a Cronium spear. The obejet can be taken apart and consealed on AFl's body to be hidden away for suprise attacks.

The figures are Red Giant, Omoose and Flamehawk's Rep: Hawk.
Red Giant: I don't know him pesonaly, but he makes some pretty sweet comics.
Red comes in his usual black suit,a cane made to look like a bat that has razor sharp wings and Flare miniture.
Omoose: Omoose is a pretty savy guy when it comes to computers and has helped me out in the past.
Omoose is feutured in a dreamed up Black Mage outfit that comes with a scarf, hat, and boots. He also comes with one of the most evil weapons ever created: The Spam Hammer. It has the power to banish anyone from existance and is indestructible. The hame features evil glowing runes and a magic crystal.
Flamehawk47: Flamehawk is a new freind of mine and some of his ideas are very well thought out.
Hawk features a custom made "Dune Spirt" outfit made by me that is made light weight but tough material. He comes with a Claw, his peronal weapon, and his pet red Falcon: Raptor who makes an apearnce in my chain game.
The next figures I'm doing are going to be Waraxe Phoenixblade, Des and... Well that's open to sugestion,

No, a galery page is to show off your spriting skills or stuff like music. Most members make galeries so that pepole can give their opinions about sprite style and even somtimes to help improve their artistic talent with pixel art. Actauly the Rizar is a Reptomamal a half reptile half mamal which allows them to live on almost any world. You'll see them every where in Warped, but most comonly on worllds without big cities.

Thnaks! :D Believe it or not, they're actauly digimon sprite edits, go check my very first csubmision "Guilmon battler" if you don't beleive me. I found some sprites on the internet way back when used to go to the librairy and downlaod things from there. Evetauly I tried my hand at editting them and well after many sucesful tries I made some of my own.
I even decided to try making a Digimon fangame. At first it was your typical monster raising game, then I started reading Digimon fanfics and changed it to be a Digimorph type game with the human character turning into Digimon themselves and not being able to turn back. Sounds pretty good right? Well, sadly the game file got deleted along with my custom digivole system that was based around MP intstead of varibles. I'm trying to restore it, but I probly won't be able to, since I need custom charas of the main charaters and nobody seems to be able to do them. Well Jet is trying to, but I haven't seen him in while so I don't know how well he's doing.
In any case, starting on Fortet today and then i'll release them.
Also since you like my Rizar so much ,blaman, how would you like me to make you a Rizar avatar and free custom sig? It wouldn't be an instant thing as I realy need to finish these figyures and get on to the next ones, but I can do it for you.

MT11: MT11 is a great mod and his avy is from my favorite anime.
MT11 is featured in a outfit that resemble's his avatar's and even has a mechanical arm. MT11 also comes equiped two sawed off shotguns that have been modfied for use as hand guns.
Fortet: Fortet is a pretty cool dude and I loved his Dothack fan game.
Fotet is equiped with his mage's clothing and his staff. Features soft accents on his hat to create a realistic look.
The next figures are almost done. The next figures are going to be Ameildaboo, Rahl and Mechamancer.

Sorry about that. I'm going to be entering a writing contest soon and I need to write 75,000 letter otherwise they won't execpt it.
Rahl: He's a hard core anime fan and a very intense sort of person.
This figure is an impresion of Rahl. Rahl is dressed in a back kimono similar to Ichigo's with a metalic shoulder pad. He also come with a possed katana called Dohunekai which slowly curupts the spirit of the wielder and makes them imune to darkness bassed magic.
Ameildaboo: He gave me a warm welcome when I first came here and it's goin to be his birthday soon, so happy early birthday.
Ameildaboo is dressed in his usual overcoat and slacks with his papper bag hidding his face. he also comes with the best weapon I have ever made: The Giant Injection Needle!! Mha ha ha ha ha!
Mechamancer: I don't actauly know him, ub the seems to be pretty good at making characters using that Gaia avatar creator.
Mechamancer is featured in a mechanical amored suit and comes with an arm cannon.

I have bad news guys. My mouse pad wore out and I can't get a new one until I buy my new computer. So no more figures for a while, however I will continue to post my chara sets and I may eventualy start to post my writing and fanfiction here.

Don't know if it's true for you... but that happens to my mouse a couple of times. So then I decied to open up the ball part, and saw a bunch of gunk stuck on the wheels on the sides. I then took a toothpick, and cleaned it all out. After I put it back together, the mouse worked brand new!
so that's my discovery. Every once and a while, maybe one or twice a month, cleaning the inside of the mouse keeps it working right. Then you won't need a mouse pad!
(Unless you have one of those new, fancy laser mouse things, then nevermind what I said...)

He's probably got an optical mouse. It does the same thing for me. The pointer will sometime goes at the edge of the screen or completely f*ck up. Kinda annoying.

Valiere: Val caught my attention with her amazing sprite work, but has since inspired me with her astral personality. you could she's my muse.
Val's Figure is dressed in a semi-oriental outfit that is a combination of survival gear and fashion accessory. She features a telekinetic scimitar with a razor sharp edge and a Unique hairstyle.
Razor: Razor is so active it burns! So I decided to make a figure for him XD
Razor is wearing a sports jacket with green trousers and a tie, that I think, embody whats happening to our economy. He comes with a unique Briefcase Edge weapon.
Sai'Kar: I've always loved Sai's art work and recently she/he helped me out and provided two new characters for Warped. Thanks Sai.
Sai is dressed in her (I'm just going to say "her" because it's annoying to type that he/she all the time) Elegant Gown which is studded with a big ruby. Sai comes with a custom designed staff I call "Way of the Mage" which is said to store magic in it when use it in battle and can then be used to restore your own magic even if if was robbed from you.

Apple man chalanged my Spriting Sensei, InsaneJP to a duel, unfornuetly for both of them I recently saw the preveiws for the new DBZ live action movie (PS I HATE IT!). If this had been in that movie it might have (maybe) been better I think, yes?

Valiere: Val caught my attention with her amazing sprite work, but has since inspired me with her astral personality. you could she's my muse.
Val's Figure is dressed in a semi-oriental outfit that is a combination of survival gear and fashion accessory. She features a telekinetic scimitar with a razor sharp edge and a Unique hairstyle.
Razor: Razor is so active it burns! So I decided to make a figure for him XD
Razor is wearing a sports jacket with green trousers and a tie, that I think, embody whats happening to our economy. He comes with a unique Briefcase Edge weapon.
Sai'Kar: I've always loved Sai's art work and recently she/he helped me out and provided two new characters for Warped. Thanks Sai.
Sai is dressed in her (I'm just going to say "her" because it's annoying to type that he/she all the time) Elegant Gown which is studded with a big ruby. Sai comes with a custom designed staff I call "Way of the Mage" which is said to store magic in it when use it in battle and can then be used to restore your own magic even if if was robbed from you.
This person is better than all of you.

Darkfox: I only met Darkfox recently, but since then we've become good friends.
Darkfox is portrayed in his usual costume with decorative gold manacles around his hands and feet with a gold color. He comes with Fate a blade that can do no damage to living creature but deals heavy damage to the undead.
Linkforce: Link force and I have chatted and seem to get along fine so I made him this figure by request (plus Skylar is so cool).
This figure is Skylar, Link's game hero and OC. He comes dressed in a near perfect replication of his outfit.
He comes with Great Edge a super sharp longsword that cuts through magic barriers and armor with ease.
TGF: The Green Flame AKA pakageman.
Pakage man is a comes with no accessories, but instead can store multiple items in it's body. He can also be equipped with arm accessories using mutant limbs packs (coming soon)
XtremeX: One of the first people I know to create a shooter in RPG maker and good guy.
Xtreame is featured in an outfit that was created using his avatar and chara set in screen shots as reference, He comes with an overpower combat riffle.

It's been awhile, but I did somthing and I'd like an opinion on it. I'm not normaly a platform player, but Dragoon De Sol made me want to try out that platforming templete that was submitted for the Platform Game Maker. SO I did. It's pretty basic, but I'd lik to know what you think.

I think he's pretty good too, but I don't know what to do with him. I can't use my GM7 that well and never could make platfomers very good at all. So I'm at a loss for what to do with this. Also I created him in about thirty minutes. I think my spriting has improved dramaticly.

That's a pretty bad template to go by. It's only really good for Mario-Esque sprites. Didn't Gemini a long time ago add a Megaman Template? I think that'd probably be a better thing to use.

The default character from action game maker is that template. I dont really like it. Too simple.

I dont remember him posting one, but it's really easy to convert the Megaman sprite into a base template. You just have to change all the blue to skin tone and move a couple of pixels on the head.

Thanks. Now if i just knew what to do with it... Maybe i could use it to make a battler for the CR. But I'd need to make a Chara and face set for it too. I mean I hate it when you find something nice in the CR, but there isn't another accompanying resource. Maybe I'll do some more in the this style and try to improve it. But first I've decided to make a new Chara for Rusty where he can rotate his dome and move like regular R2 unit. That way I won't have to keep using a borrowed graphic for him. After that I'm going to be making new outfit for David. I love to sprite I just wish I wasn't limited to charsets. Although I did make a grafic of my YT-2400 star ship that works with Chipsets. I think I posted already, but just in case I didn't here's what I've been working on now.
Here I took a a GSTLA (Golden Sun The Lost Age) and made it into a panorama because it couldn't be made into a chipset because of it's size.

This a boat? In the left and right directions, it seems a bit to blocky on the cockpit (or whatever that part is called). Maybe just round off its back, and maybe lower that part by one pizel if it is still to blocky. Other than that, pretty good.

The hands coming out is especially jarring.
Also, did you make your avatar, or did you find that on the web?
Another thing, if you save your stuff in GameMaker, open it back up in GIMP and hit save as, .gif, and hit loop forever, so that it'll...loop forever.

XD I know, I know. But it's a new style I'm playing around with, so I'm bond to make some mistakes. Thanks for the compliment though. Thinking of doing next years series two action figures like this, but taller and learning some flash or something to make them have actions.
