These are great dude. I love chipset1 and with some more stuff, chipset2 could be even better. Chipset3 feels a little empty and slightly confusing, but maybe with some event objects it would fill in the empty feeling.

Nice work! =D

Great work! Your inner mapping style is similar to mine... although I don't think I'll need to use these maps they are still really nice!

A fedual Japan game would be awesome, there's too few RPG's in that style.

That looks pretty shweet, lonewolf. It's too bad the charsets don't match the cartoony style of the chipsets.

the good news and  the bad
i only got 22 new characters for the game

i like to know if this one  work's OK with the map

I think it'd be great for a dream sequence. The grass is a bit blank for a real map, but it looks very ethereal and pretty.

Some lighting effects would really spice it up.

Yeah, someone needs to make a good grass tile for this, and it will be awesome. The game it was ripped from is 3d, explaining the blandness of the grass.

Man, I'm gonna be using quite a few of these. I'm planning a pretty large scale game, and a decent sized Japanese area would be awesome

Very nice sets indeed.  How and who should I credit if I use these in my program?  Small splash screens work well as I am thinking about making a credits page just for the fact of the artwork, programming, help, and resources that have gone into this thing over the years.
