Charas needs more banners. MORE BANNERS.
So let me lay down them ground rules for y'all.

RULES

The contest shall cease in two weeks time, February 23, 2009, 06:24:09 Charas Server Time. (CST omg?)
Get crackin'!

Oh yes and the winners will be arbitrarily chosen. There might not be any winners. WHO KNOWS. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN.

I think I might want to try and make a banner for charas I mean the ones I see are good but I'd like to see what evryone else would make (Still to much seizurey....) I think what I will do is just have a bunch of cool ppl of charas on it though :P
which includes ppl like fish and apex and dragonium and stuff here is a preview of what I might do

well I cant really do custom sh*t and stuff so I use some Maple simulator called Bannedstory or somethin (I say stuff to much......and stuff)

maple story sprites, and gaia sprites wake us all look like wapaneese nerdbombers. If youre gonna use a sprite generator, use CHARAS.

My only qualm with Ed's is that CHARAS FORUMS isn't big enough.
Maybe stick it in Earthbound title font and overlay it somewhere?

Yeah, I noticed that when I reread the rules, but I thought I'd wait until someone pointed it out to actually put it in.

I feel as though the banner should hint at the RPG Maker aspect of the community. Most of these just center on senior members, which could be confusing for newbies.

Well, the old one was a collection of avatars of members from 2005. So It's an improvement to say the least.

Well, the people who wanted in was to post sprites or something. There wasn't that many people doing it.

I know. But to be honest I don't really mind not being on the bannerlie
Yet again, I was a bit absent during the first banner contest (although I'm always a bit absent) and the second one, well, there was no "Give your sprite for my banner" and my poor skills made me skip the contest, thus removing my chance of having my face on the top of the page.

But anyway, as I already said before, being on lucas_irineu's sig is good enough for me.

The only problem is that it's not the good size.

What would be even more awesome would be that sig with a loop.

All right, I wanted to gauge interest in a new banner contest.

Would anyone here be able to create a banner (or banners) for the forums that is/are of decent quality? ie. no MS Paint crap. Something that's funny/clever/whatever and doesn't hurt my eyes.

It wouldn't really be a contest so much as "If I like the banner you make, it's in."

As an example, I made this in a little over an hour. Isn't it pretty, and I didn't even have to draw anything for it. It's supposed to look like a Soviet propaganda poster.
