I don't know if this is the place to discuss it, but it would be cool to work on
an update for the offline charas generator, Charas.Ex. The reason is that
when I look at the online one, there are SO many more choices and resources
available. It would be cool to incorporate select items into a new update for
the program. I just wish I knew how.

I believe the author poofed without a trace or got too busy to continue working on it.
-
Who did it?
-
That's unfortunate :( I'll look into it and try to get permission, I really want to work on this
-
lol his name is "GPI" but i get an error when i clicked his name and the charas.ex forum apparently doesn't exist...

(SORRY FOR DOUBLE POST)
-
Yeah, GPI is LOOOOONG gone.
-
I think the charas.ex forum is in the archive now.
EDIT: Ignore me, I apparently don't know what I'm talking about.
-
Well if he is, it's not like I would take credit for the program. He made it and I understand that. But if I get a team together or something and we work on an update, then we'd get credit for the update. It really is a shame that he'd disappear after making something so cool.
@Fruckert - I meant when I click on the link to it I get:

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've been playing around with this knid of idea for a while. I know how to modify my own charas ex and such, but i have no idea how to create a unpacker for it.
-
Oh, you clicked the link from the page. Apparently the board/topic it links to is either gone or moved.
-
@Fisherson: You mean like the update files? That definitely is a problem lol
@Darkfox: Oh, ok lol that makes better sense.
-
I can zip a charas ex I modified, but I'm not sure it would work on some elses computer. Any volunteers?
-
I'll give it a try.
-
Alright. I'll zip it tomorrow. It'll only have a few resources on it and some experiments.
-
Ok sounds good.
