- The theme for this round is: WIZARDS. This can be anything from a black mage to a cat who casts spells.
- When you are finished with your entry, you must pm it to me by Sunday, July 12th, 8AM, Charas Time. That's 3 days.
- Don't know how to upload it? Use imageshack (http://imageshack.us/) or photobucket (http://photobucket.com/).
- Your sprite must be made specifically for this challenge. No previous made sprites may be used
- When all entries are sent, voting will begin
Restrictions for this round
Size limits: The whole picture must be 144x384, and each frame must be 48x48. This round, you are supposed to do a battler.
Max number of colors: 20 including background
Background must be a solid color not used on the image
Templates may be used, but remember, that your sprite will look more original without them. You may NOT edit sprites that were made by someone else, and that includes RTP. Well, other than the template if you choose to use them.
Your BattleChar must have: One idle pose, walking to the left and right, one attack, one casting animation, a damaged animation, a status condition, and a dead sprite.
The image must be saved as .png. After all, this is a RPG Maker contest, and RM won't support other extensions.

Yeah, anything as long as it fits the theme. That means chick wizards, cat wizards, bear wizards, alien wizards, zombie wizards, slime wizards, super sayan wizards... You get it. =P

A small suggestion that might not even be worth the trouble, but if, creator voting is/would be (even for future contests) an issue, then make voting be by anonymous and use numbers instead of the creators name.
The problem is, this is the internet. Spoilers don't do so well.

Yeah, but then what's stopping us from having anonymous voting, so people who are gai for each other don't vote for who their lovers vote for, and doing that is just going overboard.
EDIT: You know I would vote for anything Dragonium votes for.

I prolly wont be able to submit it til like the last minute. I have 3 actions done, when I have walking/running left, it just an edit away from walking/running right, so that'd be 2 more, that'll be easy. Dead sprite is even easier since, thank goodness, is only one frame repeated. casting shouldn't be too much of a problem. and attaking should take a little bit more time, although I plan to take a shortcut by adding an illusion. har har.
Is not so much of a neko mage though D: i traded it's cat quality for... something else.

Got the attackin frames to do, just that I dont know how to do it. ( i mean I do know how, but i haven't decided the poses)
If push comes to shove, then I'll extensively edit my casting frames. After all, mages should always attack with some sort of magic!
EDIT: There done. i winged the attacking animation xD I gotta say I liked it tho, the attacking animation came in smoother than i thought it would.
When they come around put them in RPGM2k3!

Yeah his just needed the whole convert to 256 color thing.
XD I put them all in one battle team and they looked like a funky but functional team xD I gotta say prpl has a certain charm to it, but I had a bit problem figuring out the poses :S Not sure if I still got it right. And I like your color choice xP I was gonna do black too but I looked into a dress design I had xP and it looked better inthat greenish colour.
Also i am not a boob obsessed person, but I had to do something I hadn't done in spriting. xD It was fun trying to animate them boobies.

I like it. But its too simple. Prpl could have done it ten times better while keeping the blocky design and all.

I do kind of like it too. It's quite unique or something.
But Prpl_Mage could've done way better. Guess he lacked time or just got bored.
