I decided to try making a battle animation. Here's one for a water spell, mostly inspired by waterbending in the "Avatar" show.

Maybe I'll make more!
And here's a lightning spell.

And a fire one now.

And an ice one.

And here's earth.

Avatar kicks ***.
They look very painting like, if that makes any sense.
-
Added a lightning one. Was tricky to get rid of the anti-aliasing.
-
With the lightning one I can practically see the sound effects.
I'm guessing that's a good sign.
-
Really awesome stuff.

Avata may have that pc game kicking around some where
have to get the move one if its any good when it comes out
getting back to the the resources you did a good jod 5 ***** STARS

These are amazingly great. I'm very strongly braving RGPMaker's terrifying battle animation setup to impliment these in my game. I'd love to see the remaining elements (usually earth, ice, light, dark) in the same style.
-
Thanks, guys. Yeah, I'll make more. I also might make a youtube vid showing how to animate these (or how I envisioned animating these). It's probably a little hard to tell with, say, the ice one.

Very nice! Good job!

*Huggles that lightning animation* ^_^ Val you are one in a million. You just gave me the animation I need for a perfect Force lighting attack.
-
Anything for you, Fish.
Here's an earth one! I think this one turned out pretty cool. The first part is just a generic jagged-rocks-coming-out-of-the-ground type thing, but in the second you can telekinetically pull rocks out of the ground and mold them together to form one big-*** boulder which is then tossed at the enemy. I made an animation but I gotta figure out how to record it.
-
I think I am in love with your animations. Is that a bad sign?
I bet a complete set of animations (attack generic, slash, multiple animations per element, etc.) would be very popular.
-
Only thing with the slash/punch type animations is....I'm kind of a believer in the necessity of actually animating the character punching/slashing with a sword/whatever in the animation instead of showing some slice effect. Although I know most people don't have the time to do that.
-
That is very true. Although you kinda need it if a monster is doing the said effect. (Unless you have a sort of CBS)

O.O Niiiice! You're making me me regret that I won't be back to work on Warped till winters near over. =/ Putting up hay,feeding calves and repairing my home is getting the best of me. ^^;

Stop being so awesome!
Also, this reminds me a lot of Gemini's stuff from when he first joined. Although it might have been under his other name.
