Title: Commercial Question

Alright so I've always been a sucker for old style sprites. Now I wanted to use the character generator that you guys offer here and I wanted to use some of the generated graphics in a commercial game. However, this game won't be made in any of the RPG Makers. All of them will be used in a custom made RPG engine I'm coding in C# right now.

So my question is basically if I'm allowed to use the Character generated graphics in a commercial game? And who knows, it might not be commercial, and it might not even get finished. =\

You're free to use our generated resources in any way you see fit, but I'm afraid it might not be a wise idea to use them in a commercial game. Most of the sprites are edits of Enterbrain's original RTP sprites, which are copyrighted.

Actually, no. We don't generally give permission to use sprites in commercial ventures. Our sprites are designed for amateur fan projects purely for fun and entertainment. If you want to make money off something, please create your own material.
