hey! Considering this may be the last new year's eve party where you aren't incinerated at the stroke of midnight while the apocalypse reins down on humanity, what are you all planning on doing? Anything big to welcome the new year? Any resolutions you plan to fail at accomplishing?
Two things that are happening with me.
1.) I've cut down on smoking from half a pack to 2 or 3 a day. Meaning, I'm done smoking come the new year. I figured cutting back instead of going cold turkey would produce better results.
2.) I actually passed all my classes this semester with good grades instead of dropping out or failing.
So, yeah. Let's reflect on this past year and future and all that other new years revelry bullshit about how cool living is.

I'm going and playing laser tag with a bunch of people I've never met before.
It's going to be weird.
Fun!

I intend to find permanent work. I haven't been able to find anything but temp jobs here and there, and it's not very fulfilling.

Going hot tubbing with two of my friends. I'm bringing energy drinks. You know, in case of time machine.
This year I'll be finishing school, and I'm hoping to get the second season of Terra finished (we've already written it and it's going to be amazing if we can get it off the ground, especially now since we have better equipment). Other than that, I want to work three times this year at least (in acting), and I also want to be able to go back to dance class.

Because you know. *Nobody* can actually do the new year resolutions... So... Great plan, huh?

I'll be doing the same as last year and next year, looking at the fireworks laughing as people blow up hundreds of euros for my enjoyment.

Yeah, if the world ends next year I'm willing to pay up a hundred zillion €-dollars. Not gonna happen, people tend to be very wrong about dates that the world ends. Numerology and such isn't exactly the most precise science.

Honestly, why would the world suddenly end? There's no data to back it up.

No, the Mayans said the current calendar cycle would end and a new one would begin. A lot of people can't grasp that not everyone's calendar is linear like the Gregorian one.

Yeah, exactly.
People are just so bloody stupid some times. This is almost as bad as believing that the rapture was gonna happen last year. Or, you know, just as bad.
The rapture thing was fun, though. I was out with a bunch of atheist friends, and we did a count down for midnight, and we were like, "Okay, awesome, all the Christians are gone, now it's just us."
and since most were drunk, we also spent quite a while arguing on what would be the best thing to do in case a zombie apocalipse started. Me and the other non drunk person decided that the best thing to do while running from the zombies would be making of of the drunk guys (starting with the fat ones) trip every time the zombies got closer, to give us more time for running away.

Hell yeah it was. Me and my friend went all out planning how we were gonna survive the rapture instead of working. First, most important thing, guns.

Well I'm hoping to go to some random bar or something and hang out with people. Best not to start the new year alone.

My new year celebrations consisted of having drinks with friends then punching one of them in the face because I slept with his girlfriend. Probably sets the tone for the coming year.

So my dad didn't buy fireworks. My mom had some hidden away (not many). There were no lighters anywhere in the house. My dad was drunk and quick to blame everyone, and the timing involved was basically "hey, we have five minutes, so let's try and get it started!", so that didn't help any. Kind of a clusterfuck and now everyone's a little pissed.

I just woke up a few minutes ago. I stayed up until 3:30 playing Gears of War with some friends. Excitement.

I got stood up by some girl, played champagne pong and baseball, got really really drunk and then smoked a blunt in a Rolls Royce with my best friends. I'd say it was a successful way to ring in the new year. Happy new year fellas! ..+Zerlina lol

Woke up today with the worst hangover I've ever experienced. Malt Liquor and wine are not meant to be chugged. Ever. But it was tons of fun.
