every time i try to delete a old poll message thing i made on the forums like this one it always makes a error saying error there was a problem deleting your post make sure its not moved to another board any one know what that means?

Which old poll message are you referring to`? There's a chance you've successfully deleted it and then keep trying to delete it which it can't since it's already gone.
Or just the fact that the thread have been moved to a different part of the forum recently.

You can't delete topics if that is what you mean. You can have a moderator lock it for you if you wish.

Picture it this way:
If you delete it, the next time somebody has that problem they can't just search the forum.
Otherwise, they could root around and find that topic, and bam, problem solved without having to ask.
Locking it is much more efficient...that way it also discourages gravedigging.
