Community-focused contest time!
Main goal: Create something for the forum to help breath life back into this place.
Examples: Create an interesting forum game, make an addictive RP, post a helpful tutorial, etc.
Really, anything can be done as long as it helps give a reason for the community to be more active in some shape or form.
Rules: 1) Basically, make what you want. However, if you make something (for the sake of fun) you must include the words weasel and muffin in the first post.
2) Anyone who enters must post at least once in every other person's entry as well. Meaning, if someone creates an RP and you create a forum game, you must post in the RP at least once and the other person must post in your forum game at least once.
3) Bonus points if what you post makes it to the second/third page before the contest ends. Thus, the sooner you post your game/RP/etc, the more likely you are to get bonus points.
Judging: I'll leave this open for everyone/anyone to judge if they want. I will be a judge, and I will most likely enter this contest too. So, the idea here is that anyone can judge, but if they do just make sure to judge according to these outlines: Did they use the words muffin/weasel? Did they make a good effort to post in all the other contestant's creations? Did their creation catch fire and make it to the second/third page? If you are both a judge or contestant, then you should skip judging yourself.
Points: 1 point for using the two words, 2 points for posting in all other contestants creations, 1 point for getting to second page, 1 more for getting to third, and 3 points available based on the judge's opinion of how creative/entertaining/helpful/etc your creation is. Thus, the total points are 8, with two points bonus and 3 points left to the judge's impression of what you made.
How to enter:
Make a post here reserving your entry. When you have finished your entry, edit the post and add the link.
I would like all the entries to have CONTEST: X (where X would be the normal name of your forum game/etc) in the name of the topic. That way others may become a bit more aware of the contest and that what you made is an entry. Post somewhere in the opening post that what you made was made to for a contest and link to this topic (to help avoid later "what is with the contest???" questions). These can be edited out when the contest is over.
Prize: Winners will officially be recognized as being both cooler and smarter than Razor.

I wanna go on record as saying I think this idea's sliiiightly lame :p
That said, I'm gonna take part. I'd be particularly excited to see a new RP, and will make one unless someone else wants to. See if I can weasel my way into first place.

All of my current projects are going to take a while to bear fruit.
I could try to write a sequel to Cat's story, though.

Kicking this again. No due dates or anything set at the moment, just want to boost awareness.
Purple and Moose already entered stuffs, and each hasn't been posted in much in the past few weeks. If you haven't taken a look at them yet you suggest you do so. Prpl is willing to do sprite work for people and moose made an RP that has potential (I just have no idea what to post it in atm).

I want to make a text adventure, MSPA/Textventure style, but I can't figure out a place to fit in your first rule.
Weasels are easy and disturbingly convenient, but muffins?
Can't think of anything.

That's part of being creative.
Someone could sing "do you know the muffin man" or someone could be described as having "muffin-tops". Shouldn't be too hard to think of something that is also fluid to the text.

Or depending on what you're aiming at, could be a nickname, a pet name, an expression (ex: "Well, muffin. This'll be tougher than a muffin."), someone singing that line from Poker Face, etc.

Muffins are kind of absurdly hard to find in a post-apocalyptic environment.
Or Morrowind, if I recall correctly.

Text adventure sounds cool. I had an urge to make something like that where members of charas chose what happened and I drew it but I knew Archem already did something like that (sans drawing) and it already felt a bit 'done'
