This is Ljink...I just happened to delete all of what I just posted... :dry: . Anyway I have a fanmade Dragon Quest announcement. I have been remaking Dragon Quest 1 STOP, this is not any ordinary remake however. It captures all the SNES feelings of the 3rd while adding a much needed overhaul. Here's what the game features:
The main game is complete and has been tested by 7 testers. The game has been in development since uh... May of 2012 and has a set release date of August 31st 2014 but it has a high chance of being pushed back since I have been watching Dragon Ball and Z for the past few months. I hate addicting shows! Anyway... This game i believe is the best remake on an Indie platform because I've played and beaten almost every Dragon Quest including the knockoffs and monsters.
The game was an rpgmaker.net exclusive until about a week ago and I decided hey, why not announce it the best Dragon Quest Community in the world. So I did. Here's the link to the game

So what about the game... well that's no one answer question but here's what I can tell you.
The game is a remake of Dragon Quest + and uses the graphics from Dragon Quest III: Into The Legend for Super Nintendo. All maps are accounted for and have been properly translated. Among the standout original game there has been so much more bonus content added for a new experience. In the end of Dragon Quest 1 the hero came out of his shell and said that if he were to rule a kingdom then it must be one that he built himself. So that's where this game comes in. It should be called Dragon Quest 1.5 but hey, whatever.
In this game you'll find yourself with 3 new party members, all new characters, rivals, and sidequests that all manage to link to the future Dragon Quests. The boldest of these sidequest is a multiquest mini game called the Orgo Cave Trials. This is reminiscent of the famed Ancient Cave of Lufia II. In the bonus content there are many characters to be added. If you'd like to show up in the game as a character let me know and I'll see what I can do. Many have already made requests.
Monsters are from the Remakes of Dragon Quest 3(SNES) which have been provided by this lovely site. As a matter of fact nearly all music and sprites came from this very site. Thanks and this site is in the credits which have been highly updated.
As of new bells and trinkets there's a gameplay counter and a prize for those who've played over 10 hours. There's a trivia game that all of you should ace that allows you to get a Slime Card which allows you to gain "store credit" for buying items. That store credit can be used to purchase deals in the game. You also get your own house and a world map to examine at your desire. You get a ship and much more.
I am the only developer in this game and I've made it clear that I don't own anything so I don't get sued as I've gotten pretty darn close too. I hope that I've gotten your attention and let all of us pray that we get Dragon Quest 10(X) for Wii. Thanks for reading and look forward to many updates.
