Maybe it's time to get it. But I'm thinking about spending my cash on Destiny 2 instead

Yeah, thinking the same thing actually. There is a lot of things I don't like with how MV games look, but might have to do more with the style of the default art. The biggest turn off is the size of the graphics though, I can't draw stuff that big : /

But then I went and spent all my cash on Wolfenstein 2 instead.

Still tempted with the purchase! I find that there seems to be a problem with RPG Maker games, in that people seem to assume they're all bad.

Obviously that's not the case - it's because it's way more accessible to a bigger audience, so there's gonna be some rushed products. Could be nice for
hobbyist stuff though. An MV game is selling quite well on Steam at the moment... but it's a porn game lol

I don't assume that all RPG Maker games are bad; I just assume that the ratio of good to bad is pretty low, given the low barrier to entry.

Which is to say that since I have a fairly low budget (as far as money for games), I don't want to put money into games that might be pretty low-quality and unpolished.  On the other hand, I've gotten a small variety of RPG Maker games through some of the Humble Bundles... but since I have a fairly low budget (as far as time to play games), they've so far gone unplayed.

That's kinda unfair of me, and I should stop doing that.  I know that, at the very least, the games To the Moon and... I think it's The Witch's House? it's one that Markiplier played.  Those are gems, so RPG Maker gems do exist.
