Okay so long story short I was working on Dentverse Origins and the screen froze while I was importing something so I forced the program to close and now it gives this error: https://imgur.com/a/qQD0ok7 I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling Steam RM2003 and guess what? It persists! Can any of my old RPG Maker pals help me solve this problem? And if should I use the Steam public help service?
Edit: Sorry for the bungled wording I was on the phone with somebody at the time and I just tried steam services. -.-; Only works for MV and MZ now. So you're literally my only hope I think. I even went to RMN and you guys know I don't like using the forums of that site.
Nevermind! Finally found the source of the problem. Something very simple: The import setting was set on PNG format when in fact Custom is the only one that works with Steam as far as I know. XD Very basic error. I feel like me back when this place was a buzzing hub and I was just an illiterate troll that expected the maker to always work and me to never have to read anything. Ahhh nostalgia.

That's odd, I've never used custom.

Am I the only one who just put the image file in the game folder? Seems like such a hassle going through the importer.

Transparency usually screws up for me when I do that so I tend to use the import to avoid the need to go back and change something again.

Your steam lets you do that and keep transparency? Cause I did that as a backdoor method but then it didn't work everything.

Well, I don't know how it is with resources you just download from the internet. But if you make your own stuff in Asesprite it's pretty easy to control the transparency.
1)
Press the three lines above the colors:

And pick create palette from current sprite
2)
Make sure the color that should be transparent is in the first slot. If not then drag it there.

3)
Set the colors to indexed mode at Sprite > Color Mode > Indexed.

4)
Save it as a png.

Oho and I was gonna take this off my wish list since these days all I really want is Star Wars Fallen Order but now I am so keeping it on there XD

All hail Aseprite! :D
