The tall mask guy, the masked girl in sack cloth, and the bird-like one are part of the same world. Kind of a gray world with a gloomy atmosphere that shouldn't exist, where people end up if they slip out of their reality. The native inhabitants are like the tall dude and the sack-cloth girl, and the bird-like one is someone who got warped by the world. A bit of Kingdom Hearts and Majora's Mask influence. Trying to flesh out the story a bit at a time since I have another I'm cooking. Natives are called the Un, and the people that end up here become what is called the Nix, with them referring to it as "getting Nixed."

The fire-looking dude is from the other story I'm cooking, working out designs for a race of shadow people from a dim world that have glowing features. The world here is a post-war world sent back to scattered villages. Some Twilight Princess influence, I guess.
