I remember the first time I heard lol, it was on Battle.net I believe, and when I asked what lol meant they answered "It means your a n00b" although I think it was more like "It mens yur a n00b"

I'm learning the French language.

And please don't anyone insult it as you just were. This may not mean anything to anybody, but just a small example of how screwed up the English language is today. If someone insulted the english language, no one would care. If you would insult the French language, they would turn hostile, that's how much they care about it.
