Silver Zero's enigma
« on: July 18, 2008, 12:20:30 PM »
Since the complete resource is still down i am making this topic for my character Enigma and i want to ask which Version of him would everyone like to see next.
Here is the complete enigma sheet (finally) I also added a new weapon to it-i call it the nine tail chain spear. i made the nine tail from scratch while looking at a picture of it's tail from MMX command mission.

Download link

Now here is the next version-there are 3 to chose from

this is here so you can make a suggestion on him.

As you can see in the images i want to add some spikes and gems to enigma(formerly named silver zero),but i want to do more like remove his hair.

I want to make him look more unique and not just a simple recolor of zero ,since i've got better at drawing in bitmap.
Please do not e-mail me on when it will be complete as i have said to many people who asked me to do requests i simply do not have alot of free time
and cant work on this every day, which is why i upload a updated sheet once a year.

The reason why i was never on the forums is that i have had a bad experience on other ones, but thats about to change with my first post on this site.(hopefully i will have a good experience here)
Please be aware that i work and will not be able to respond to posts as fast as i would like to.(as in i wont be able to respond till after 3:00 eastern time)
All right that should cover it for now.I will check back later on and respond to any and all C&C.

Edit:added new sheets to this post now there are 3 version's of enigma and i ask which you think looks better.

You seem to have saved them... Really small. Is that just my incompetence?

Anyway, welcome back! Even if it's just for a day or so...

The sprite looks great.

Yeah, photobucket resized that because it's massive. You can change your photobucket settings to allow 1 megabyte files with no size restrictions... Or you could Post it in smaller pieces.

Thanks.i am removing the hair slowly now, just the running sprites are the hardest for me.
I'll do more tomorrow on it.
I'm still debating on which version to do once i finish removing all the hair from the sprites.
I'm leaning toward number 3 now, that one just looks sick to me.

Actually i was putting him in a sonic game removing sonic's sprites.
But do to the genesis's/megadrive pallet limitations it wasn't looking so good,so i scrapped it.
I had plans to totally revamp all the levels to match the style in a MMX game but i dont know anything when it comes to
programing and adding new code lines for new sprites. Basicly enigma was going to kill Dr.Robotnik(Dr.eggman)
and i was going to use two of my custom Robotnik (i still call him that) bosses too.If you guys would like to see the Robotnik's here is the link
no pics since this is about my enigma sprite.
http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/silver_zero/DeathFlyerFinal.png
http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/silver_zero/Prototypedestroyer.jpg <--- still points to old setup after i uploaded new setup.
I did have a Game long ago on rm2k3 with silver zero but like i said i dont have time to do it.

Quick edit:

This is a Heavy WIP of the running animation back side. The hardest thing for me to do are the hands.
Here is a link to download it if you think you can get it to look better.

this is the hardest sprite for me at the moment.

I found the Zero sprites but i did the recoloring and hair removal.
So the answer is no i did not find them.I edited Zero.
the sheet it self has all the places i found everything except the zero sprites.
Unfortunately the rippers of the sprite sheets i found and websites where i got them from are not listed in the zero sheets and i have no way to created the original ripper of zero's sprites. The ONLY sprite i ripped was the Explosion sprite.
Now if you mean the Eggman(robotnik) sprites i made those too.
