Agreed.  I always knew there was a reason why he was my favorite character through the series.  Especially since  I never did like Light too much, any way.

Matsuda shot Light, yes. But he did not kill him. Ryuk killed Light by writing Light in his Death Note. Why? Because he didn't wanted to wait 30 years till Light died in prison.

Never seen DeathNote either.  But I find it quite fascinating how this thread went from a shyte cult-like teen musical series to a cult-like teen anime series.
