Looping problem

I came across a promblem with looping I was wondering if it would be possible. I have Bowser laughing and I do this using the show picture action. I want him to continue laughing while other stuff is happening. Also is there an easy way to make the picture look like its walking using the looping system right now I use Show Picture 1 move picture, Show diffrent picture untill Bowser gets to the desired place...or any easier method for that matter.

Can't you use a charset for this?

And what is the problem you're facing?

Have separate event (or a common event) that is a parallel process. Use that event to update the pictures and just activate it with a switch.

There was someone on games that had an abs that used pictures instead of charsets, don't remember what it was called. But if you can find it you can always look at how they handled their picture updating.

Bowser tends to be way too big to be a sprite the only ones avialbe are horrible pixlated I self taught me self how to use the picture system as if he we a charcter

the problem. I wan Bowser to laugh mainicly I use 3 pictures and I loop them but no other event can play while this picture is looping. Using the pictures for all of this is so very overly complacted It make it look good but the guy who did Super Mario RPG: The Seven Sages made it look easy he/she made it sow Bowser sounded like he was walking to but then again he/she had a small non-profit game company/team behind him...

I think ZE answered my question...
