Hey charas folk!

I'm continuing my long going venture in making an action RPG.

so I just remember how much fun it was playing metal slug or ssb and as a youngin I would think of all think of all the ways an RPG element could tie into a game like that. now that IG maker is out this can be done.
I'm starting with a simple 3 class system. (theif fighter mage) the theif sprites are basically done and I'm using the layer format so editing them will be no prob.

basically I want to have finite items (IE potions bombs and other stat modifying items) a basic level system and an overworld map that makes you play through levels to get to destinations.

special moves and unlock-able skills would also be cool too.


however I'm lacking in the creative department, I'd like to take on some affiliates to help make this happen.
I've gotten familiar enough with IGmaker to make a fighting platformer RPG work but I need help putting together sprites and tilesets for levels. also anything conceptual that anyone might want to add/suggest I'd like to hear it.

I will post a little teaser of the game shortly. until them hear are some sprites to give you a broad concept of the look and feel.

I have some vague sprite concepts for the mage and fighter characters but I don't like them much and refuse to post them here.



Theif:
Controls described as using an Xbox controller which plugs in perfectly to igmaker games, but a keyboard works just the same.
walk: contol stick
run: RB and control stick
basic attack: slash, stab, highkick X,X,X (when pressed consecutively)
Dash attack(attack while moving): X while running
Jump and double jump: A
Throw bomb: B
Roll: Y

The games were from that themes was good and they can make a enjoyment to the player..
