Yes, same. I've been wanting to play this game again for a long while, but the "No more updates, forever and ever" thing made me leave the game behind. I'm really glad he changed his mind.

Honestly, I think I played nonstop Terraria for a week (around the release of 1.1) when I bought it and then went back to playing Warband all day erry day. The new update looks mighty interesting, though.

I'm honestly planning on setting up a server of sorts when the time comes.
Because I found this game to be way, WAAAAY funner with people than without.

Redigit said that he's planning on getting the update out by the end of July, but that's entirely possible to not happen.

How many players can be in the same server at once?

I guess Red just used a couple of bytes for the maximum amount of players in the server, or something like that.
But you can cap it at anything between 1 and 255, so...yeah.

That might change, though, once the new server tool comes out.

Oh, sweet. I suppose I could join a few games here and there once the update's out.
I've barely ever played multiplayer before, so that'll be sort of new for me.

Want to know if I need to make a new guy, or if I can bring my already-top-tier dude.

We're spelunking our first dungeon, so mostly silver armor.  I found the Muramasa though, and he has Light's Bane swords. Also, we almost have enough meteorites for a phaseblade.

I'm sitting around in the Hallowed armor set, but that's pretty boring.

I haven't beaten Skeletron Prime yet.
Or, more accurately, I can't seem to beat the Twins.

But I do have an Unreal Megashark, Excalibur, and a bunch of other top tier gear.

Yeah, I never really was able to beat all the Hard Mode Bosses. I think I was able to beat The Destroyer of Worlds, and The Twins (with help from a friend who could solo all the bosses at the same time), but Skeletron Prime was impossible.

I didn't have too much luck with loot, though, so that may have something to do with my inability to beat them.

I found the Destroyer to be fairly easy with a flail and the right arena, but I can't seem to do that again.
Been a long time, etc.

Hmm, I should continue on the console version.
I just finished my world's dungeon, and am currently exploring hell.
Maybe I can beat the hardmode bosses and then fight the final boss.
