How do I send a full project file?
« on: July 12, 2013, 03:55:57 AM »
Im attempting to work with a friend who lives in a different country, on a project. We plan to regularly send our data back and forth to transfer the updated maps and data, but we need a method to transfer the full files, any suggestions?

To send a folder or stuff like it it is a good idea to compromise it. That kinda lowers the size slightly and makes it into a simple file.

So like, use WinRAR or WinZip to Rar or Zip it together, upload it on either a site like Rapidshare or whatevertheyarecalledthesedays for like single downloads. Or get 2 Box accounts and you can simply update the file you have there and he can do the same. If you update you can use the same download link.

You can also use the "make disk" option. That compresses the game and all it's files to a decently small size.

(Just make sure not to lock it.)
