Nightwish Midi Files
« on: April 05, 2015, 03:52:56 AM »
We used some in the last Chain Game and I even found some in other games I've played just wondering how were they made? Is there a Midi converter software that can change MP3's of professional grade to Midi's of awesome but retro design? If not how many Nightwish MP3's are out there and which of you added them? I wouldn't mind a DL link or just a plain old link to them if it's not too much to ask. Rather like Nightwish allot. One of the only Metal Opera type bands I've ever seen who makes every song unique and beautiful without overdoing it.

I have, Bless the child, Dead to the world, Ever dream, she is my sin, wanderlust and wishmaster midis. I found them here on charas some 10 years back or so. The author is augenauf99, Xjericho and copoff(can't remember who made which one) and I think they actually made them themselves. I believe we would know if there was a working mp3 > midi converter. I know I would've used it for most of my projects at least.

I do have the albums up to Dark passion play as mp3s. But I don't think any was used in the chain game at least.

Also, if you like Nightwish then chances are that you like Within Temptation as well. Get yourself the free version of spotify and you can hear 'em out without the need of the mp3s though.

NIghtwish use the same musical devices over and over and over again. I swear they have the same song appear more than once on every album.

Having said that they do occasionally come up trumps. The last two songs on their latest album are pretty good.

augenauf99 is actually a friend from high school, if I can get ahold of him I might see if he still has them.  I'm not sure how many he actually created though.  I think he found them or found then edited them.  He was insanely good at transcription of melodic lines, but I think some of the drum stuff might have caused him problems.  I'll let you know if I can get him to pop up.

She Is My Sin?? xD One of my all time favorites as it's the first one I heard that I can remember. Within Temptation huh? I'll give 'em a listen, thanks! Also PM me some download links to the Nightwish Midi's you have and I'll take 'em off your hands.

Don't allot of artists do this? Heck take away the vocals to two songs from diferent bands and the intrumentals will be almost identical in some cases.

You should be able to find them if you do a search for "nightwish" in the midi section of the complete resources.
