After... well, forever.

Hi to everyone.

I am Captain Obvious/Zerodius/Zerophex.

Been forever since I have worked on RPG Maker and made any kind of ressource... but well, I had a surge of interest lately after I had some ideas for new games.

Some things have changed since I last went to this site and thus, I have a few questions that the new FAQ and documentation did not answer...

1-The search function in the Complete Ressources section does not work. Is it incomplete?

2-I hate browsing with only 10 ressources showing at once ; I was one who liked to browse with the 200 ressources at once option enabled. Is there a way to display more than just 10 ressources at a time?

3-I've noticed many sprite rips in the ressources section. I take it that sprite rips, as long as they're in a format that fits RPG Maker, are still allowed, right?... or it's frowned upon?

4-Some sub-sections of the Complete Ressources section have only red Xs as preview pics (namely, the Battlechara sub-section). Why is it so?

I asked Moose, the guy programming the custom resource stuff, similar questions the other day. Here are the answers he gave me:

1)  the search engine apparently can't search for things less than four letters long. Good if you want to search for more stuff, but bad for common words like "dog" or "guy". Moose says he'll try to fix this maybe but doesn't really know how at the moment.

2) I miss being able to view more resources at a time, too.

3) Sprite rips are and always have been acceptable.

4) This has something to do with how the database was moved over. The files themselves are okay (you can click them and download them) but they don't display properly. It's a big known issue at the top of the list.

Thanks for the answers. I'll see if I can get some new ressources (namely, some battle animations and a few monster sprites).

The search function doesn't work at all for me ; I typed "dragon" and clicked search. I had a total of 0 results. Since ThexXtremeXx says that he typed in "pokemon" and that it worked, I tried it out as a test. 0 results as well. A bug or some kind of compatibility issue?

But well, nice to see that things will be fixed eventually (hopefully).

It's real... it just takes ALOT of practice and dedication and if you feel something you made it.most vids are fake.

To find out you have to be able to feel something in your hands like it being cramped up.
Ask somebody else you know to do it and if they feel it then there it's not all in your head.
