Experienced RPG Maker user, has big problem...

Hey hey guys! I've FINALLY found a site devoted to my hoby!!! Anyway, here's my problem, i'm using RPG Maker 2003, with all resources from THIS site, now, into my game, i've noticed a strange problem, NONE of my charecters can use their skills or spells that i've made! Example, my main Char for the prologue scene, Shrueb, uses, "Sword Tech", and it appears on his battle menus, but when selected, it shows NONE of his skills, not even his first, "Charge", i've re-applied all the skills to their classes, and i've tested it again and again... Nothing seems to work... All the spells have not been changed either... What's going on?? Please... Someone help me out?

Could you perhaps post a screenshot of how the skill page looks like or something?

It's possible that you gave a skill a "Weapon attribute", where you select the attributes like Fire, Ice - you can also choose sword.
Having a weapon attribute will need that the character is equipped with a weapon of the same kind.

For example. If Sword slash got Sword attribute then you won't be able to use it unless the character got a sword equipped.

Another possibility is that he is on a level far too low to have learned the skills. Have you checked that on the Hero page? That his skills are in the right place.

The last possibility I can think of is that the skills is not in the right Skill subject.
For example. Aqua 1(in the rtp) is of the Gaia fury school and not Magic.
So if your character only have the skill subject "Magic" - you won't find Aqua 1 there. You need to Gaia fury in the battle commands.

Purple Mage is a GOD!!! THANK YOU! Yoy where right, somehow, all the sword tech's, turned into "Holy Magic", all I have to do is a simple switch, THANKYOYTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!! Now I can waste my life making this game again!!!!!
