Music program
« on: February 06, 2009, 11:46:32 PM »
Anyone know of any good music creating program? Currently I'm using Guitar Pro, but I'd like to have some better sound quality. Instruments included should be at least:

- Guitar & Bass
- Violin & Viola
- Cello & Contrabass
- Percussion

Also, preferbaly work with tablature but a notebar(word?) is fine too.

There's the obvious choice of Anvil, although I personally hate the quality of String instruments on midi
Other than that I can't really help you

If it sounds like Guitar Pro, then I agree. String quality does suck in midi, that's why I'm looking for an alternative seeing as I can't record stuff, let alone play more than half the instruments I mentioned.

EDIT: On Dragonium's advice, I got myself Fruity Loops 8. Working sweet, but I want some more sounds. Anyone know where I can get more rock / classical plugins?

Haha, Dragonium beat me to the punch. Yeah, Fruity Loops is great for that stuff, although I'm not sure where to find sounds... Search around, you're bound to find stuff. I could ask my cousin, he is an avid user of Fruity Loops.
