Backround Colour Problem

Hello i require help in fixing backround colours as they appear on the object when they are placed (say the backround was pink the pink backround would show up)
any ideas on how to fix this, its most likly to be an incorrect colour (they need to be a certain colour right)?

When importing something, click on the background color so it is flashing. Then it should not show up.
